Hold the darn phone! How in the heck has only Oak seen The DaVinci Code?! Especially given that you've watched the National Treasure movies. Get on that ASAP!
butcher had the insult for starlight ready, locked and loaded
@DrewStark-b5bI saw it as she hates him and he hates her , she visibly makes remarks towards him , and it would make sense he had it locked and loaded
@DrewStark-b5bButcher is Homelander, Starlight was right to compare the two.
They are the same person
Its very funny how they are so similar
@DrewStark-b5b It's who Butcher is. Annie has been wanting him kicked off the Boys the entire season. Why wouldn't he have some disdain towards her? Plus I feel his jokes and attitude are a jokey thing. He doesn't really hate Starlight, but he knows she despises him. He just takes advantage and pisses her off on purpose(imo)
@DrewStark-b5bsame thing applies to starlight
@DrewStark-b5b 💯👍
Yup, thats precisely it!
They extremely much do, yeah
Kudos!
To clear it up for Dave and Answer, the mom in episode 3 basically told Hughie that she had tried to contact him, but the dad didn't want her to confuse him (by communicating but not being present) and so she stopped. So, in this episode, the dad apologised for that.
"This man is no condition to f**k a sheep" Best line of the series and Butcher has said alot.
Frenchie always gets the funny one lines
I think it's Simon Pegg's best acting performance of his career.
23:31
Remember S3? Frenchie met a V'd up hamster, Jamie, in Russia. Jamie was startled, and bounced around his cage like a ping pong ball until he broke out, flew up, and blew through that Russian guard's head right in front of Frenchie.
I imagine the hamster in Sameer's lab looked like that crazy ball from Men In Black that Will Smith bumped and let loose to wreak havoc.
Oak had previously told the story about his dad. I knew this one was going to hit hard. Hugs, big guy.
Hughie's mom said in the episode where she explained why she left that she tried calling and stuff at first, but Hugh Sr. told her to stop because it was confusing and painful for Hughie, so she did what he asked.
Hughie and his Dad broke my heart. My mother suffered from dementia before she passed so it was tough to watch 😢
This episode reminded me of my own mum who had cancer as well as my nan she had memory loss sadly passing away about a year ago. Love you Mum and Nan always ❤
Not really the same ur mom wasn’t going through walls and people 🤣
Sorry for your loss
Same. Mine passed away two months back. Was really hard to watch this episode. Simon Pegg 's acting was so good and quite accurate.
It’s all laughs when Ryan was punishing Adam but they didn’t realise Homelander was really manipulating Ryan
damn. that scene is not funny. it's fcked up.
@@marigolden_mariposa things can be fucked and funny, example a Super chiken blasting throught some poor dude chest, really fcked up and gory but also hilarious
@@53thephenixNah those scenes are to show how Ryan’s becoming more violent cuz homelander tell him its fine not supposed to be funny at all.
@@Smoove-n4m Yes it is cuz that dumb ass "director" finally get what he deserve. It was a funny scene. no matter what people playing "mr. I'm better than everyone else" like you have to say.
What's really twisted is that it's probably what Barbara told him in the last episode that made him realize he can't just demand that Ryan be what he wants. He had to manipulate him more subtly by taking his desire to do good and twisting it to support his narrative that humans are their playthings.
I feel like though ryan and homelander are connecting i feel like this might be a type of foreshadowing the moment when ryan learns adout how he was conceived and that will be what ultimately turns ryan against homelander
This show never fails. Arguably the best superhero show ever.
BURN BURN BURN IT DOWN!
The triple facepalm LOL 2:51
Said the same thing. That's exactly how I feel ANY TIME raggedy Ann is on screen
"I'd call you a cUn+ but you don't have the depth or the warmth " has to be some of the funniest shit that I've heard in a long time 😂😂😂😂😂. I've repeated it in the same accent many times since I first seen the episode 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's not commonly used in the UK but I've heard it thrown about once or twice. Usually between friends, followed by a 'Whheeeyyyy!' and some clapping from the lads.
“Tonight on Vaught’s funniest pet attacks…” That is some crazy foreshadowing! 2:43
12:27 Fun fact: Eric Kripke, the creator of the show, explained that this is a real thing and Amazon approached the team behind “The Boys” about doing digital product placement, he posted "we said no thanks, but we’re definitely making a joke about it in Season 4. Then we did."
What’s that?
those chickens were almost up to Los Pollos standards
I love how The Boys took the piss out of the MCU.
Im calling it A-Train aint making it out alive this Season.
Negan is the Devil and Becker is the Angel on Butchers shoulders.
Think the was a dig at rings of power too with the most expensive ever so it be good jab
“Becker” 💀
@@TheKonkaman Also the thing about reshoots and stuff are probably about the justice league and lots of the DCEU movies.
Yes, so excited for this reaction. This was an absolutely insane episode 😂 The one scene with the sheep diving outside the barn was like a horror film 😂 and the scene with Hughie and his Mom and Dad at the end is just so emotionl😢
I know they don't do this show for awards, but it kills me that none of the regular cast or guest actors has ever been nominated for an Emmy. The show has been for some technical awards, and once for Best Drama series, but week in and week out, these actors have to do the CRAZIEST $h*t and yet they ALWAYS manage to sneak in moments of real emotion that hit you way harder than the "shock" elements. The final scenes with Simon Pegg were just... heartbreaking.
Bugger the Emmys. The real award show is us, the audience.
I wonder if Victoria had that Homelander training where she saved Edgar not out of self interest, but out of love and the fear of disappointing the person who is closest to them. Just a random idea
Butcher's "Friend" is a hallucination that actually represents the parasite in him he got from the temp V, that he juiced up with regular V he nicked from Frenchie
I always read the title of this episode in butcher's voice 😂
NO ONE does contemptuous condescension better than Giancarlo Esposito.
"Toys for our amusements" that's the significance of the scene with Ryan. He realizes what his father meant those times.
Watching Hughie's dad this episode hits hard for me. My stepdad had a stroke seven years ago and afterwards he was never the same. Lapses in memory, what felt like years he'd forgotten. Random bouts of anger and confusion, knowing something was wrong but couldn't understand why. It was tough and seeing what happened this episode just brings it back up.
PERFECT timing 🙏🏽
The actor who plays ryan is a twin and we have seem both in the show ❤
Cameron Crovetti's (the young actor who plays Ryan), twin Nicholas only filled in briefly when Cameron was younger and child labor laws only allowed a certain amount of hours a day for him to film. When those hours spilled over, Nick took over for Cameron but the role of Ryan is solely Cameron's, especially this season 4, he's the sole one playing Ryan, since Cameron's older now.
Hughie’s dad death was so sad, I really love Simon Pegg and he killed it this episode 👏
23:33 when Frenchie met Jamie in the russian lab 🤣🤣
“Is it just me or Joe wearing the same clothes every time?”
Saying that as if Butcher doesn’t wear the same combat boots and trench coat everyday of his life 😂
THE FACEPALM AT 2:54 LMFAOOO
The Da Vinci Code movie reaction next PLEASE!!!
The fact that HomeLander makes the comment: It’s like being a slave, only worse….. And no one reacts to it, kills me.😮😂😂
"Black at It" earned a solid 3/4 facepalms.
Surprised yall didnt recognize Sameer as Victor Strands right hand man throughout season 7 of your favorite show Fear the Walking Dead 😂
If you rewatch the episode where Daphne talks about her post partum she mentions still trying to talk to hughie but Hugh senior blocked her saying it would confuse Hughie since he was so young.
lol how did I time getting on RUclips as you guys posted this reaction. That’s wild! Ready to see your guys reaction to this one especially the Hugh scene.
we're here early for this!🗣 🔥
If it's a hallucination, how did he bring him the drugs for Ryan?
Were the drugs in the cookies hallucinated too and in the end they were simple cookies?
And who is Kessler's son? It will definitely come back ..
Butcher got the drugs himself. We never saw Joe even touch the baggie of powder.
Butcher blacks out when the thing comes out, they can obviously alter his mind, the parasite could’ve gotten it when Butcher was “sleep”.
@@xSKY23 I still don't believe it. It's too on the nose for that.
@@toriboy25 If that's true, then why is he asking Kessler if it will be strong enough to knock out Ryan, shouldn't he know....???
@@AzenHawke1995 Because it is an hallucination! Why is Becca talking to him the way she is if she isn't real?
Don't worry, Oak, I got your Dexter ref 😂 also, guess we gotta watch The Davinci Code, boys!
I love that Huey’s dad’s last words were Tom Hanks while Jack Quaid’s mom was in a movie about boinking Tom Hanks (sleepless in Seattle) when Jack was a literal newborn.
He has a lot of parental Hanks issues.
I can't wait for the reaction to this episode ❤
Great episode! Best of the season so far.
The V-Animals scenes felt like a B-Movie Monster movie but with a higher budget
I love how that entire Paris dialogue was kind of a way to get Simon Pegg's accent to slip. Too many R's.
Popular theory that I agree with is that negan is just a hallucination like Becca and it’s really that worm thing in butchers head
Episode 6 this Thursday
This was honestly the best acting I've ever seen from Simon Pegg. A++
The sheeps reminded me of movie Black Sheep about these sheeps that were experimented on then they started eating people 🤣
Dexter is definitely a great show. Would recommend
Yall should totally do dexter as your next show!!! If its an option ill vote for it ❤
I wish they would just randomly release those movie trailers on RUclips without context 😂
they're not exploding chickens, they're chicken supe 😏
Cameron was giving off some Tyler Durden vibes when talking to the Deep.
Oak, maybe wait until Answer's finished to jump in? You talk twice as much as the others; maybe count to one before grabbing the conch shell? It's always a better recording when it's a legit team discussion.
Great work as always, peeps.
Why is Homelander scarier when he's being nice?
Damn I'm gonna miss Simon Pegg, his last scenes with Hughie were so emotional :(
Simon Pegg´s death is sad until you realize his last words were "Tom Hanks"
Next on the reaction list: The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, Inferno trilogy PLEEEEASE 🤩
Its ok you can laugh 12:42 😂
Old mcdonald had a farm😭
Ooh couldnt decide if watching ur boys or tellates reaction first. Such a hard choice, but the boys won out! I just love u guys for giving me a massively hard decision. But u best believe im going straight there next! Love yall!!!❤💞❤️
No Dave, you're right, Joe hasn't worn anything different. If you notice, his tie is always unloosened too.
Everybody's saying Joe isn't real but how was Sameer's leg cut off when Butcher was standing with everybody when the sheeps died?
Joe kesler can be a an alucination but im 100% sure he drove that car
I have a theory about Hughies mum, she said she works for Vought and they made a point of showing a close up of the ring when she gave it to hughie with the moon pendant attached, then she finds a reason to go to the bathroom straight away, i think the pendant or ring has a tracker or something inside it and she's helping Vought somehow, she went straight to the bathroom to activate it or message someone that she'd delivered it, i could be overthinking, but I don't trust her.
jeffrey dean morgan's character is most definitely a hallucination
he could be a chaotic good
It's probably not what the writers intend, but the notion that a virus can latch onto Compound V would actually imply that Compound V is itself a living organism.
Although that would also explain what's happening to Butcher...
Next episode is going to be half censored lol
My favorite reaction channel 😎 always🤩
Thanks for the spoiler for Breaking Bad 👍👍👍 I haven’t finished watching it yet. I really appreciate it, guys
We need a reaction for The DaVinci Code movie 😊
Simon Pegg is phenomenal in this!
I wouldn't be at all surprised if he got pushed for some sort of award nomination.
New upload?!?!?! Im there!!!!!!!
Homelander said "patriots", not "A-Trains". The subtitles are wrong at that part.
And yes, I think this episode confirmed that Kessler is not real, because that was definitely a "who the fuck are you talking to" kind of look.
I'm surprised you did not mention the bunbun in the room here... The bunny had temp V, like Butcher, then took regular V through the infected ground water, like Butcher, and then developed parasitic worms, like Butcher. There's a clear correlation between taking Temp V and regular V causing this. If I had to guess, maybe the regular V affects the rotting brain mass caused by the Temp V and turns that alive and into their own V powered being.
OK, THE DAVINCI CODE needs a reaction
It’s scary, homelander’s manipulation. He couldn’t get to Ryan through violence and supe superiority, so now he’s using Ryan’s sense of justice and the idea of moral responsibility/superiority to encourage violence
have you guys watched night at the museum? if you havent please do
DD... 💯 JDM is hallucination. Hes the devil and Becca is the angel version of his persona. Ive felt that since first time i saw him cause he talks just like s1 Butcher!❤💞❤️
No trying to spoil anything but I don’t think episode 6 will be safe to upload 😂
You guys should react to the DaVinci code!
Da Vinci Code next then, hum?
OH MY DOG, guys please do a dexter watch i havnt paid for your paitreion yet but that will totaly do it for me haha
I’m not quite on board with Kessler being a hallucination… so far Butcher has just interacted with an imagined person, he hasn’t had full on delusions of time and space. Joe gives him the files and the carfentanil he’s supposed to use on Ryan, so Butcher would have had to hallucinate or confidently forget a lot of time and different people to justify where he got the drugs/files from… if he’s not real, that’s a major plot hole. Joe has handled physical objects like the car door, the files he gives Butcher, and the drugs. Butcher doesn’t work for the CIA, so who was he handing Sameer to if not Kessler, and by extension, the CIA, so he can go work on the virus? So far we know his hallucinations have been voices, and the ghost of Becca. At this point, Kessler being real would be a better plot twist at this point. Or else they have a lot of explaining to do regarding all the things that needed a real Joe to happen…
But the thing is, we have never seen Kessler bringing anything to Butcher. We have seen them together talking about the thing Kessler gave him (in the park, his kitchen, etc). But we don't really see him bringing it. We also haven't seen him interact with any physical objects on his own. An example is that butcher was driving the car with Kessler in it (this episode). Why couldn't Kessler drive? Also, Butcher can perceive interacting with his hallucinations but it's actually just objects. Example, he thought he was taking Becca's hand in the bathroom, but he was just grabbing the bathtub wall as support. Butcher could've easily got the files and the drug thing (for Ryan) from any other source and just hallucinates that Kessler had brought them to him. I don't think it's that far of a stretch.
@@pdas4182 that’s my point: he could have gotten those things elsewhere, which would mean hallucinating and forgetting a ton of actions and people, including the place and people he takes Sameer to… that’s more than imaging an inner angel/devil to talk to. That’s why they’d have a lot of explaining to do if they want to write this off as not real. It’s a huge plot hole, and they either plug it, or it’s just bad writing… which I sure hope it’s not, seeing as the show has such good writing to begin with.
@@chelsiemcnatt335 But the thing is, he's not forgetting anything. Why would we assume that Butcher thinks he got all the things because of Kessler? I don't think I've ever heard Kessler say "I pulled a lot of strings to get that from the CIA" or something like that. They always talk about the file or the drugs, but we don't see who brought it and I haven't heard Kessler claim that he brought it also (I could be wrong, but I don't remember so far). Also, the place he's taken Sameer to, could easily be any old warehouse/barn or whatever which Butcher has. We haven't seen any other worker in that place. So we can't just assume that it belongs to the CIA.
But anyways, I'm not being adamant about Kessler being a hallucination. Maybe he's real as you've said. But episode per episode, lots of proof are hinting towards him being a hallucination, that's all. Atleast, it's clear that the writers want people to pick up on those hints.
@@pdas4182 It’s about the writing my dude. I pointed out a bunch of plot wholes they need to plug in order to make a good story. They’ve already started plugging, like good writers do 😊 I take it you haven’t watched the latest episode? Enjoy the ride!
@@chelsiemcnatt335 Yes, I understand what you mean. I haven't watched today's episode yet. I'll do it in sometime. Also, if it sounded like I was rude or offensive or anything, I am sorry. Have a nice day.
Ohmeed? Lmao
Im really hoping joe is real, just to fuck with everyone who thinks he’s also a hallucination
Unrelated - but would you ever react to supernatural? I know there’s like a million seasons and episodes but it’s my FAVOURITE show and I’d love to watch you guys react to it!!!
E-I-E-I-O 😂😂😂
I have never seen Dexter..... That's a nice lab 😂 Dexter's Laboratory the cartoon network show I guess that was only funny to me
"I'm starting to like Ryan" while he's doing a super fked up thing influenced by his murderous dad?! huh?! that scene was horrible, it's not supposed to be a good thing that he's forcing a woman who has no power in this situation to slap a man who sexually harasses her. Is it not obvious? that scene is showing the gross influence of Homelander, of twisting Ryan's best qualities, twisting his best impulses to be grotesque. Even when he wants to help people, Homelander turns it into practice tormenting people! I'm genuinely baffled how you could watch that scene and laugh.
Day 7 of asking you to react to princess bride
DId I miss something it seems Mason doesn't like will ferrel? lmfao. Am I just reading too much into that ? Is there some backstory ?
You read it correctly 😂
I will like if you guys react to interview with the vampire the serie of AMC, anyways if you support twilight level of gringe, I think you can deal with it.
it can be tittle "straight white dudes watch Interview... 😂"
Ii take it that the reason you guys edited out the appearance of the gen V kids is because you've never actually watched the show!? The plot points of that show is kinda what this shows a out this season. And is it just me or anyone else was deeply disturbed by mason's hysterical laughing throughout this, especially the Ryan and homelander scene!?
They did watch it. They may have editied them out for their fans who have not seen the show yet to avoid spoilers.
They did watch it and to be fair the gen V scenes were very lackluster and could've been done better. They were easily skippable.
Mason is an Anthony starr fanboy, loves everything, anything he does or says
People laugh every time starlight tries to use her power she is the most unserious character
Not firecracker, she got her ass whooped 😂
Love The Boys, but this was such a weird episode for me. The whole farm story arc was bizarre and felt like a super contrived way to get all the characters in one place.
I don’t usually focus on plot holes or realism in this show, but the sheep not breaking through the barn walls was kind of weird. Also the whole “inject the corpse with the virus” thing didn’t make sense to me because his heart isn’t beating. So the virus wouldn’t actually spread through his whole body.
Not as bad as Homelander being unable to kill Hughie in the air vent though a few episodes ago, haha.
I think I can explain the sheep thing. Just like homelander didn't leave his tortures because of psychological restrains, the sheep don't break through the barn because they were used to it being their prison. Psychologically, they wouldn't try.
The virus spreading on a dead body, well, maybe is an eating virus that moves on its own and not just "dragged" by blood. They do die very graphically and not slowly after all.
homelander cant see through zinc, the vents hughie were in are made of zinc.
@@okbye6250 This is the common explanation that I see, and that's fine and all, but if he really wanted to kill Hughie, then he could have just flown through the ducts and caught him in like 5 seconds. Just kind of came off as lazy to me.
@@Krimm664 I mean sure that’s fair
Is anybody else SUPER SUPER curious about his version Johnny Cage? I can almost see it when he’s playing Butcher.
