Great review!….I tried the browser mode, perhaps misunderstanding that I could access files on the PC running the browser….but apparently even though the browser is on the same pc where the Gcode is created,, there doesn’t appear any way to access, and choose those files….comments? Thanks, Chas Sending protective and healing vibes to you and your loved ones
I have an Anycubic Vyper and if I do timelaps then I have extreme stringing, do you have a few tips on how I could fix it? If I take over the settings from Cura, it won't be nice printing, but if I print via SD/Card, the print will be great, so that has something to do with Retract
Thank you very much for this guide, I was struggling to figure out how to use the browser version. Any chance you have the file for the mount posted anywhere?
Hi, please check the video description for the links. In there you can find the link for the camera and for the list of compatible printers. The Ender 6 SE is not on the list yet but the manufacturer indicated that they are testing more printers.
Thank you for this video on Beagle camera - just got mine today and your video was excellent in getting it set up. Would you consider sharing the stl for the camera mount?
hello friend good evening, I have a question, while the printer is printing and the camera is recording, if I turn off the computer the printing is canceled? Or can I stop printing and the camera recording without a problem when I turn off the PC? I say so as not to have to have the computer turned on for 30 hours... the other question, can I enter the gcode directly from an sd to the printer and only use the camera to record? or should it be used yes or yes with the computer or phone application? thank you very much for your help
If I didn't already have octoprint setup on my printers, this might be a convenient alternative. Given the price of raspberry pi boards these days, this is definitely good value.
@@ruiraptor An Idea for your channel. I just went through the process of updating Marlin on mine and tuning it up. There is so little support for this machine. I’m thinking I might try putting Klipper on it to see if I can squeeze a little more out of this thing. Perhaps you could do a Klipper video?
@@ruiraptor Awesome! Thanks! Your videos were what got mine up and running in 2019 when I purchased it. There is remarkably little info about this model printer. 👍👍
Are you still using Camera? My keeps destroying the SD Cards. The one that came with the camera and then I put brand New Scan Disk work for a day and then my print fail and my Sd Card no longer worked. Could not read any longer on my computers or any other stuff that had SD card reader. I wrote to them but they trying to tell me that my SD Card Reader on the computer is faulty. Not blaming that could be a Camera.....
That is odd. We use the same memory card just fine. I would suggest to disconnect the camera and use the card (and sd adapter if you use any) directly on the printer for a few days and see. If by then the card is ok, start using the camera again.
@@ruiraptor After the card is no longer working is also no longer recognize by the computer. So I can't connect to printer to see it. Plus it did twice on me and both times when was printing. and both time killed my prints.
This is not for me I already have a Raspberry Pi and Microsoft HD camera + I can get an Orange Pi Zero2 for $17 and a USB camera for $30 and run Octoprint and all the glorious plugins
Same here, but it was a good review of the product and I can understand the appeal for someone who doesn't want to fool with a Raspberry Pi. It just depends on what you want.
@@vanceblosser2155 Setting up Octoprint is now vey easy from Raspberry Pi Imager, you just select it as an OS from the list and answer the questions and pop in your SD and it fires up! So Easy!

I wonder if the print time is noticeable slower since it pretty much pauses to take a pic
Great Video and Review. *Are the files for the support available somewhere?* Thank you in advance, Cheers!
With your auto bed leveler did you need to change anything for that to work or did you leave it alone?
How many days free shipping will take to USA ?
Thanks for sharing. R there any membership fees?
Can you connect the Camera between the Raspberry Pie (Octoprint) and still have access to it without Octoprint
No, i think you need to connect the camera directly to the printer so that it can send the instructions for the print.

It seems that today they released a new update and now the Ender 6 SE is included as well.

Hi Gilberto, yes, sure...we will upload it on our Patreon page in a couple of minutes. It will be available for free so everyone can download it.
I am using jyers. My printer display won’t boot with cam plugged in.
Best review yet
I'm gonna check to see if it's compatible with CR-5 PRO H
Thanks :)
Does the camera have a built-in microphone or does it not need one?
Yes, it's equipped with a microphone. However, for the firmware version that we tested, we could not control it.
Is it compatible with the artillery genius/sidewinder?

you can check the list here:

Hi Brian, you can turn the PC off. The camera will still control the printer and capture the images without the computer.

Hi, thank you :)

Yes, i think that a plug and play solution is what most people look for.
How do I find the download file on your page for the camera holder?
Does the Timelapse automatically start?
yes it does.
Any chance you’ve uploaded the file for the base you created? I’d love to print one for myself.
