i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
Any other assistants have tips on how to get a client to communicate effectively. I pride myself on being able to adjust to someone's communication style, but I might have found my match. My current client is a district manager, starting 3 of her own businesses that are constantly growing, has me managing social media and emails for all of them as well as a bit of property management 🤯 and today she asked me "if I saw that email from that one guy" after a while of trying to ask direct questions all I could do was tell her to forward me the email when she finds it. I feel a bit useless basically telling my client to do it themselves 😅 but she makes it difficult to assist when she can't communicate. Any tips on how to politely address this or techniques to adjust to this. Thank you!!
Yes! Inbox zero keeps me SANE! If I have over 10 emails in my inbox, I might begin to twitch. Thanks for this video Lauren! There were so many other tips in here that I can’t wait to start incorporating to help my own business and my clients’.
Hi James! Check out The Free Mama Matchmaker (www.thefreemamamatchmaker.com/)! We will match you with someone who has graduated from my 12 week training!
you don't have to have either, especially to start, but I highly recommend both if you're looking to make a career freelancing (both for tax and privacy/protection purposes)
Hi Erika! Yes, I have a more in-depth training on email management for virtual assistants inside of The Free Mama Movement. Take a look: thefreemamamovement.com/ondemandinfo
I would start with doing an audit of your current inbox and how you utilize it. I would also make note of what you consider sensitive info. Questions to ask yourself: Do I separate private from business? Do my clients contact me or a general hello@ or support@ inbox? Is it time to give my assist her own inbox? What labels can I set up so that certain sensitive items are automatically filed into a certain folder? Lastly, I would take a look at your hiring process - do you have an NDA? What trust-building steps can you take to make sure you have the right person in the role?
@@freemamatv Thank you! Sensitive info is SSN that maybe in random emails in my system, Credit Info that may also be somewhere in my email system, etc (info like this in particular that someone can still my identity or charge my CC). I have been using this email since 2004. ANSWERS to your questions: 1. No, I don't separate private from business. 2. no 3. I don't have an assistant, I need a VA assistant 4. I don't know if I need a filter for sensitive info since no new sensitive SSN/CC info shouldn't be coming through my emails in the future? 5. What is an NDA? 6. I am not sure, any suggestions? I am planning to hire a VA assistant possible with a big company so it's safer hopefully?
@@15433584 Great info... I would definitely do a sweep of your email for sensitive info such as credit card numbers or SSN. This should never be shared in unsecured areas, so once you address that, it's a non-issue for your VA. Best business practice in general is to separate business/personal, so I would start now with your inbox! NDA stands for non-disclosure agreement - you can find templates in a quick google search! I don't think it's a fair assumption that big companies are safer. All of my students are self-employed independent contractors and they are rock stars!
I saw a programme somewhere that allows you to manage multiple different clients email accounts in one place but I can remember where I saw it, does anybody have any suggestions?
Hi Lauren! I exclusively offer email management to my clients. This video is fantastic! The thing that I'm having trouble with is finding the people that are willing to admit that they need help in their email. Do you have any tips in this area?
Hi Tresha, you certainly could since you'll have access to the internet. It would be a way to get started, however I would recommend a computer or laptop in the long run because you'll be more efficient and have more capabilities :)
Any recommendations for a gmail account with over $30k emails? I am currently just archiving anything not from 2020 since it just moves it to the All mail area- this could take sooooo long to get it straight.
Hi Lauren, How do you charge for this service? per minute per hour per project? I am asked to monitor two emails but do I charge my going rate for an 8 hr day or?
This is going to vary based on each project and the amount of work going into it. You're also going to want to consider your financial goals! I dive more into rates in this episode: ruclips.net/video/KcZE8WSd0lk/видео.html
Hey Dean! I totally get your perspective. The truth is, what I teach could be used by ANY freelancer and help them! I believe that by niching down and being specific with my audience and my message I'm able to serve a group I'm passionate about at a much higher level :) Thanks for your feedback!
Great question, and it depends! Are you managing someone's incoming email, including replies and organization and customer support? Are you also managing email marketing? What's the volume? There are a lot of variables to consider when determining your pricing.

Best place to get started is by watching my free training: www.thefreemamamovement.com!

I am new to this...how would I set up a separate support e-mail?
that depends on the email provider of the client. I use google workspace, so I'm able to manage all of our emails account from one admin console.
what's a typical starting rate for email management services?
Hi Kina! Email management would be considered a general VA task, which (based in the US) would start anywhere between $15-25/hour.
Lauren Golden that’s great! I’m just starting to offer this and my rate is $25/hr. Thank you so much!!
How’s it been going? You wrote that 3 months and I’m just getting into it so just curious:)
Well explained! Great job Lauren! 💕
