WOW this is awesome it is almost like the batter bowls that I make. the spout is a little diffrent but I really like this type. It reminds me of the batter bowls from the 1940's that McCoy made with that type of handle and that is what I use on all my batter bowls. eddiespottery in Illinois.
Hi. You often tell to go straight down when trimming. I don't understand what you mean. You keep your trimming tool horizontal or vertical? You mean you don't trim from outside to inside but from up to down? Or do you mean not to round the bottom but to make a defined bottom rim?

That was probably 3-3.5 lbs. I didn’t actually measure it- sorry!
