Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos.
Apparently I have been "Shadow Banned" by RUclips.
This means that many of my subscribers don't get any notifications when I add a video.
As you can see I have almost 500.000 subscribers but I never get any views these days.
So I don't know why but I've been well and truly shafted.
12 years of content and I'm going backwards thanks to the RUclips algorithm.
Anyway for everyone who watches thank you.

Absolutely ridiculous, shame on RUclips for thinking your content should be hidden from people.

That's so neat. As someone who has zero artistic ability, everything you do just looks like magic. Thanks for posting, your videos are so enjoyable. I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season and a terrific new year.

As a person who uses yarn bowls: The weight serves a second function beyond keeping it from warping in the kiln which I wouldn't have known about. the weight helps keep the bowl from moving around as yarn is tugged inside it. I have 2, a plastic one i hate cause its so light it just drags all over the place, and a wooden one that is much better because it has some weight to it. I imagine a ceramic one would be the best but I don't have the budget to acquire one, sadly.
These bowls are lovely! I hope you are having a happy holiday season.

I love the beaded rim detail, looks really nice, and seems like an achievable detail to learn how to do. I'm just learning pottery, and am excited to try doing some yarn bowls; I'll definitely try this technique out. I also do some knitting, and am much happier with my kinda heavy ceramic yarn bowl than my lightweight wooden one. I also have never been particularly worried about a slight warp as an end user of knitting bowls, but probably will be as I try to make them myself.

That looks really great. I'm a big fan of spirals too. Sadly, my wheel throwing skills are atrocious lol, but I may be able to pull off something like that with pinch and slab work. We shall see. Have a wonderful holiday.

i’ve watch almost all of your videos and several times over. love your technique. my question is, what are the dimensions of the uarn bowl. my mom says a ball of her yarns is 6 inches.

Lovely yarn bowl!!! Can I ask did you do a transparent glaze over the pot after the blue slip? New to glazing and I’m finding it baffling!! Cheers
