Because this nation is great how? We killed off the native population? We condemned homosexuality as a crime? We interfere with other nations internal matters and say it is and act of war when they do anything to us it's a crime, and our government can even agree on basic things. Yeah, what a "great" nation. Literally the most good our nation has done was bring down the Nazis other than that. Nothing.

That’s the whole thing, we don’t even have to even wonder about that, bc Lincoln signed it. He made it happen. Despite death threats in the process and ultimately his own assassination. They were free in the eyes of God, of course. Not in the eyes of the state (Government) though, and there’s a big difference. Lincoln “became” the state and ended that crap. The Emancipation Proclamation *formally* ended slavery in the U.S. and i think anything short of giving Lincoln the full credit he’s due for that, is an attempt to literally re-write history. Sure North Koreans are free right now, but are they, “really”?? What I’m saying is, the formal declaration of freedom was most definitely crucial in this case. Crazy to pretend like it somehow wasn’t, just for the sake of a new-age narrative. I’ll take real history over the revisionist history (which is almost like some sort of weird fad now all of a sudden) any day, for the sake of accuracy. Here’s a good example of what i mean; 200 years from now if there ends up being some random new”er”-age hipster who writes/proclaims that you were a racist, horrible person, i would hope there wouldn’t be some group of fellow lunies like him/herself tryna lead a charge to make sure you’re remembered that way for the sake of some weird modernized ideology, vs being remembered how you truly were (or rather are), else it wouldn’t be a true reflection of the past and much more like modern day propaganda.

Oh, when did he say that ? What is your source? Think for yourself. If Lincoln could free the slaves by writing a proclamation why didn't he just do it on day one ?
I'm not picking on your personally. But your quote doesn't sound like something Lincoln would say. Since my eyes have been opened I see that he unnecessarily started a terrible war and forced the Southern States back into the Union at gun point. Our ancestors voted in their States to leave the Union of which they voluntarily joined. Then we're forced back into it. Just the opposite of "government by the people for the people shall not perish from the earth " sound familiar? That's what Southerners wanted, to be left alone!

Well she’s almost 100% right. It’s not that Americans are ashamed or have been silent.
This is only a left-wing ideology in America. Only the left wing is a shamed to be Americans.
Only the left-wing tries to silence free-speech because someone disagrees with them. Us Conservatives remain very proud to be Americans.
It’s not that we’re silent, but that we’ve been silenced. And there is a big difference between the two.
Of course there are no perfect conservatives and not all that are good people, the same as there are still some good Democrats out there. But Silencing, canceling, doxxing, even physically attacking, just for saying something that is truth under the guise that it is hate speech, these are the actions primarily of the tyrannical left wing Democrat party.

Hell yes, girl. Say on! Nationalism is beautiful, it's showing pride in yourself and your community. It's a unifying force no tyranny can stop. The Juggernaut must continue.

@@tomasmccauley569 ridiculous quote and it's a delusional definition. I'm a Patriot and a Nationalist and do not hate anyone. I do however want to make sure my countrymen are taken care of first before giving the store away. I want to fix problems at home before I try to fix someone elses. Just as I would make sure my kids are fed before I feed my neighbors.
By the way Ghandi and Nelson Mandela were both Nationalists. Who did they hate?

I think you got the wording wrong. Your a patriot not a nationalist. Patriotism good, nationalism bad.

@@noblekitten336 You misunderstand. Nationalism is actively hating other nations because they have different ideals. If you want an example look at the years leading up to WW1. And when i mean different ideals I mean not Democracy V. Communism I mean like modern U.S hating modern Finland for no reason.

Wanting manufactures to come back to the us for our own benefit as in more jobs for us and products made in America by Americans benefits America, but not say like china who would lose jobs if our manufactures returned. I could consider that a case nationalism.
I support a lot of the US' interests but at the same time, oppose plenty of things.
