Eh, not really. It does move a lot of air around and it does cool your skin via evaporation (as all fans do) but it doesn't actually remove the moisture from the air the way an AC would. On warm nights we do still run this fan and it feels pretty good in bed. If it's really humid out we will run the AC and this fan (just to help move the cool dry air around a bit.
oy... it could be fried. Try unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging it back in to see if anything resets. Otherwise, you can try to contact the seller on Amazon. I had a toaster oven fry during a storm a few weeks ago 😞
I don't think you do raise or lower it. It's a tower fan so it essentially blows out one big wave of air from low to high. You could always put it on a box or pedastal. It isn't very heavy.
Ooo, that's not good. I simply hit the Timer button on the remote once (the fan reads "0") then hit it again (the fan reads "1") and just put the remote down. I just timed it today and my fan turned off exactly 1 hour after I saw the 1 appear. Maybe your timer function isn't working?
I think the temperature is a reading, but you can't necessarily change it. It's not an AC or heater so it doesn't actually produce cooler or warmer air, it just moves the air around. All general fans (like this one) make you feel cooler by push air across your skin which removes moisture and makes it *feel* cooler even if the temperature doesn't necessarily go down. We still use this fan in our bedroom in the summer and it helps move the air around, even on hot and humid nights.
does it act same as AC? or closely as?

How do I change the temp without the remote
You can’t
So mine stopped working after a power outage. It turns on but fan doesn't work. What can I do?

Hey how do I confirm the timer mode? I want it one hour but there's no press to confirm button. It stays like that showing 1 h but never turns off
