crusher evo's have something called "sensory bass". basically its a driver inside each ear of the headphones that vibrates when the bass hits. if the bass slider is all the way up it hits you like a truck. in my experience i saw the edge of my vision rattling (not joking😂). if youve ever been in a car that has a sound system with many subwoofers, thats what it sounds like. I RECOMEND!

I am listening to this video with my brand new skullcandy crusher evo. The bass is off the charts, the headset even vibrates. But the bass can be tamed with the slider switch. Glad I got the chill Grey, they look great and are very comfortable.
The crusher evos are one of the best headphones on the market at a fair price. More so, compared to drebeats and apple they provide audio quality and basssssssssssse serious base I love it
What is funny is not having ANC is what interested me in the this headphone. I do not use ANC and it increase the price of the headphone for a feature i do not use, the problem is most “if not all” great and best headphones in market have ANC. Just bought the Skullcandy anc 2s which are basically the evos but Skullcandy listened to all the fan feedback and made them better. $220 on Amazon and evos are now in the $140 range.
they were probably faulty then. i have crusher evos and i tested how low they go, and they went down to 10hz audibly with the bass all the way down and up.

Add the headphone cable and a Dac, twice the power of Bluetooth or stock headphone jacks, LG V20 has a ESS Dac and is probably the lowest powered out of all my Dacs but still great for on the go, Syba Dac from Amazon is perfect at full power and the Moondrop Dawn Dac is dangerous, 4V mode will blow them up but 2V mode is awesomely insane, like I said they will literally jump off any table/stand you sit them on and will make everything you see vibrate like an earthquake is happening, so awesome, you haven't reached their full potential until you try them corded to a Dac, enjoy and your welcome for the advice

They’re pretty good headphones (SKULL CANDY CRUSHER EVO). I have them however, I found myself not using them that much. I swapped to a SONY WH-XB910N because it felt more comfortable and not too heavy on the head and ears. I think those headphones would be good for gaming, music, etc. but definitely not for workouts (this is based on experience) they will fall out (I’m not hating, just stating my experience).

Yes. The passive noise canceling is amazing, i can be in a mid london shopping centre and not hear anything but my music. They do crusher anc versions if you are interested in active, however they really are good enough passively. Jasons talking cr*p. I think skullcandy fired him.😅

I feel that the bass and battery life more than make up for not having noise cancelling or ambient mode, sense I don't think either of those features are really necessary for someone who just wants music.
I use my crusher Evo headphones a lot until one of the padding started to get damaged and my crushers have been through a lot and they get really loud !
The deal breaker was the head band gets uncomfortably hot. I returned them too Costco. I got the Sonys xm5 $360 I can always Return if I don’t like them anymore or want something better in a year. I love Costco.
I'm basically a skullcandy fanboy, and it pains me to say this but the ancs were underwhelming. It's nit necessarily skullcandys fault but i don't think they considered the vibration picking up on the anc's mic. The only way i can describe it is a "furry bass".
Mine are nice however there was a bomb threat at my school today and they made us leave our stuff and go home immediately so they will stay there with my other phone for a weekend

Skullcandys are fun inaccurate headphones, even with bass slider off they do not reproduce sounds correctly -- not to say they're bad just FUN. The sonys provide a clear and accurate reproduction of the audio. For bassheads the sonys aren't gonna be enough for you, bassheads like fun headphones.

They arent clean, like most BT headphones. They have exaggerated tops and lows like the skullcandys however they IMO lack as much mids as the skullcandys. They do exell in the ANC part though. You can connect it to anything with an aux input or using Bluetooth so if your PlayStation controller has an AUX input which it probably does , just plug the aux cord into your headphones and controller and you're good to go
I have this headphone for some time now and they are quite good. I guess newer versions of this should have better and more clear sound besides this extreme bass, slightly easier to adjust bass slider, bigger space for you're ears inside and noise cancelling. I just saw that there is a new noise cancelling version released and I wish it existed earlier so that I could have bought it but it's also a little more expensive which might be to much for this kind of funny headphones
Honestly ANC isnt really needed when your probably gonna be blasting out your favourite music with max whack (bass at full) on 😂 They kick ass, you dont hear a thing outside if you play it loud enough. However the people walking past will hear you... Eh well who cares haha 😅

I bought them & returned them the same day the high bass hit hard but I wasn’t happy with the low bass it didn’t have any it would just static instead

Not great, although if you're using as a headset/aux you can always use an inline boom mic, that's what i do.

These make xm4s sound weak lol. The crushers have a built in Ldac and aptxHD+ decoders. Also skullcandys hit below 20hz with ease (deep/lower) bass.
