Winter rescue: Recovering an F150 that went off the edge of a logging road

This was a rescue we recently completed. Our local 4x4 club, Clatsop County Son's of Beaches, got a request to recover this truck after its owner couldn't get a tow company willing to try it. Four of us made the trek to the top of Nicolai mountain and, with some careful rigging and good planning, got the truck back up on the road without causing any additional damage.

I did recoveries many years ago and a stroke on 2/1/2024 put a stop to that and my 4 wheeling of my '92 Samurai. Ive had to learn to walk,talk, and regain movement in my right hand and arm. After a year of rehab i should be back on the trails this summer. What a journey.
