  • James Hannon (TI-6799) of the NorthEast Remnant Garrison (and Jolly Roger Squadron Detachment) of the 501st Legion shows you how to put on an ANH TIE Pilot costume. I agree its not the most complicated costume out there, but the NER and I are putting out a series of these videos, and we're starting with the ones that are easy to film.... Other costume videos in the series show how to put on Sandtrooper and Biker Scout costumes.. For more information: 501st Legion - 501st.com NorthEast Garrison (NJ division of the 501st) - 501stner.com Jolly Roger Squadron Detachment (TIE Pilots) - www.jrsdetachme...

    Awesome. I think I like this more than the Stormtrooper. Think I'll be getting this outfit.

      The Stormtrooper is great, but never underestimate the benefits of sitting while in costume :)

    I'm a staff officer for the Ohio Garrison, recently began putting together my build for the TIE pilot. This is proving to be real helpful, thanks!
    Though I have a question- I see some chest plates kind of curve upward at the bottom rim while some are more flat. Are both designs ok for 501st use?

      @JamesHannonAuthor  4 года назад +1

      Hi Jelly, i don't have the chestbox nearby right now, but according to the 501st Jolly Roger page (the experts on the matter), heres what they should be:
      "What is pictured here is what is left of the “M.O.M” (Magic of Movies) display. However it does clearly show the two gray gears with approximately 20 teeth and a diameter of 1 7/8ths inch on each of the bottom “donut” sections and hoses and proper dimensions of the TIE Pilot chest box."

Check out your local chapter (garrison) website of the 501st Legion and talk to the people there. They'll gladly help you...
