I've always liked Hades and James Woods is the perfect choice to play him. And I keep telling myself that if I ever get the chance to make my own movie, I would hire Woods on the spot ^^
You know its funny how Olympus basically continued to be a thing in Kingdom Hearts based almost entirely on the fact Nomura liked Hades so much as a character. Although I wonder how they'll keep using Olympus in a way where it won't go down the Agrabah path where everybody dreads it showing up because nothing exciting or fresh happens. There's only so many ways for Hades to trick an FF protagonist into killing Hercules and/or raising the Titans before it gets stale. Especially when Nomura doesn't seem to want to use many FF characters that he didn't make himself.
Well, they can actually do the Aladdin and Herc crossover episode. Where a Dead Jafar works with Hades. They could make a whole KH game based on the Aladdin tv show but apparently they refuse to.

It's an easy way to make things fresh, have these Disney villains in fun new scenarios to see their reactions to other Disney worlds, and it's really getting mileage out of their crossover. They COULD, but I don't think they will. Both because Nomura just isn't interested in the crossover stuff anymore, instead wanting to use KH as a backdoor to realize his vision for Fabula Nova Crystallis, as well as Disney probably forbidding it due to some strange antediluvian mandate (like that weird thing where Disney Princesses can't share eye-contact as to protect the sanctity of their individual mythologies or some guff, when I think deep down it was made because the higher ups wanted to discourage fans pairing the princesses with each other, which UHH, THAT DIDN'T WORK) So yeah, we could get a game where the Disney villains are all mixed up on different worlds and, like, Kairi goes on an adventure to defeat them and ensure their return back to their own worlds or Darkness Prison or whatever, but Nomura doesn't want to, and even if he wanted to (which I doubt,) Disney wouldn't allow it. It's not a good situation.
@@traewilson5127 honestly after that excuse they have is just silly after having KH1’s villains be all about that. Heck, Pete talking with hades, Barbossa and scar break that rule. Just feels like Disney are missing what we enjoy from seeing the Disney characters together

My husband put a playlist and showed it to me. It said my favorite videos to watch with my wife, friends and family and this was the first video on that playlist. He is not wrong

See, now in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts. We know that the villains are the ones behind the shenanigans in the first game. Ever since HD and such, you can barely see them or their actions, just their voices.

If that blue flame at the end of the kh4 trailer is anything to go by, id say that chance is pretty high. Plus he had a pretty important role toward the end of Dark Road.
Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 probably had the better dialogue. It felt western. Then Namura decided to have the actors speak how japanese people speak in corny anime in other titles
Gonna be honest, they failed pretty bad when it came to capturing the original essence of what made Hades such an awesome villain. His writing doesn't seem as creative, his cool and explosive personality seem more dull and tired, and the lines of dialogue seem less smooth and more choppy paired with the lack of (good/fitting) animated expression. When I compare the original movie Hades to KH Hades he actually seems kinda boring to me #lessiconic. And as Gordon would put it "it's fucking bland, no flavor. "
