Push/pull on the steering wheel while adjusting, it goes in & out as well as up & down.
Thank you for the correction. It must have been really stiff because it didn't move for me.
I had 2 Camaros THEN a MUSTANG GT I traded 4A,RF MX5 GT , best decision I ever made,FUN FACTOR 1000%
i love that shot of the underbody in the beginning
It has both tilt and telescoping steering wheel adjustments. Thank you for showing the reverse lights. I ordered the grand touring softtop. It's expected to arrive sometime in July.
I wish Mazda would offer more fun colors for the Miata
What you call fun colors 🌈 others May view as odd and unappealing.. it would reduce the value of the car and make them hard to sell..All Brands sell the most markable colors for their products..
@@charlesjackson1700 probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard Dodge offers some pretty cool colors and there’s no way a purple challenger is worth any less than a black one. It’s a sports car at the end of the day, should be more than just grays whites reds and blacks
@@charlesjackson1700 there’s nothing wrong with selling a light blue or a yellow or even a orange again. If you don’t like the color get black or white..
@@ImYoutubing247 There's nothing wrong with different colors.. It will it be expensive to paint just a few of them if that color had little demand .. That's the way business works.. It's the same way with car interiors colors.. They only do what is profitable..
@@ImYoutubing247 Look at the demographic that buys Dodge Chargers.. That is taken into consideration as well..Dodge and RAM are one of the most repossessed vehicles.. The auctions are full of them.. Mazda Miata has it's own fan base of buyers.. Most are conservative. Purple, 💜 and pink 👄are too left field..
Great review, really enjoyed it! I knew it was going to be good from the very opening shot where you backed over the camera so you could see the underside of the vehicle. Well done! I'm waiting for mine to be delivered the end of September.
Great job Mike & I'm plan on buy this 1 day.
Wish you had share to show my hubby!
You’re not really maximizing its performance if you are not nailing 7k rpm here and there…. Don’t be shy … the motor and tranny can take the beating, unlike a Camaro or Ford. The beauty of a Miata is its ability to connect to all your senses. This is a roadster, not a svelte coupe.
Amazing video Mike.
Thanks for the under the car video. Now I know how my soul red looks like.
Great review! The miata steering rack is tilt and telescoping
Wow, what a great review, congratulations Mike!!! Could you tell me what type of transmission the automatic version has and what your opinions are on it? I think it's a rather old torque converter, but I can't find the technical details anywhere. A comparison between the manual and automatic versions would also be very good. Thanks!
I live in Australia, so we are right-hand drive and couldn't help but think that the MX-5 is more suited for such an orientation. This is despite the world being predominately left-hand drive. The room for your right leg is somewhat restricted, which would not be for us.....just saying. BTW I have bought one and my MAZDA dealer is preparing my car for delivery as I am typing this comment and it is Aero Grey Metallic. Thank you for reading.
How tall are you? I’ve always loved the RF design but not sure I’d fit. Lol
Quite a few RUclipsrs have suggested that before cherishing the thought of owing a MX-5, do a test fitting first. Height of 5ft 10ins would be the maximum, as any taller it would become somewhat of a problem; especially if you have a longer upper body and shorter legs. This is just one of those things.....
very nice car
Hand Washing this car is less than 6 mins . Drying it 5 mins ❤❤❤❤❤
I am 72 years old at 6 ft 230 pounds with a 32-in inseam and I fit fine any Miata GT I would think I would be the maximum limit
All this for a Targa Top? I love MX-5s, but really?
I know this car is designed and focuses more on driving dynamics but I still think the engineers can do better with the ergomics and conveniences like better cup holders and more compartment space for the arm rest and technology improvements plus touch screen, better back up camera and many more but that's just my opinion after driving one for a week. for what you pay its overpriced brand new
So cup holders are what decides on your car purchases ? Mine is brilliant .Its called a kitchen.
2024 comes with a new touch screen that allows you to adjust while driving and a better camera than my 2023.
it's not like a convertible at all with the top down.More like a 70,s Corvette T-top.I much rather the look of my 2012
This is not 2024
This IS a 2024. Tan interior. New 2024 wheels.
@@bruceinnes3699 I didn’t realise he had the 8.8 screen , i have 2024 mx5 and my steering wheel is telescopic.. maybe he didn’t pull or push I don’t know
@@Uncharted110KsA - how could you not realize the screen size? It couldn't look more different than the earlier ND's. Plus the telescopic steering wheel was introduced in 2019
