I kinda love Jesse and Cassidy. Sometimes we associate certain personality traits with toxicity because of certain toxic people we know, but we get the superficial confused with the depth of a person. There are a lot of dumb toxic super masculine dudes like Jesse, but in this instance, he only shares outer appearances with those dudes. Being consensually dominant in a relationship, making dark jokes, and being super masculine doesn’t automatically make someone toxic, and I think it’s great that someone like him is a trans ally. He can have a more affective impact on people who resemble him on a surface level.
