Have been catching up on the older videos I've never seen. Nice thing you did for that family. Hope they've become regular customers. Amazed at how much your kids have grown in the past 2 years. Especially Steven........from a kid to a young man! You're a great dad.
I still say you've got the coolest job... least ways what we see of it. I'm sure there are lots of headaches too, but wow what fun. Apparently you're making a good name for yourself as a buyer when they call you like that. I just wish your store was closer to me.
Have a story about similar thing. A nice thrift/antique store not far from me mentioned they had a tub full of lead typeface letters (for the old way of printing with presses). I arranged a time to look at and buy it. Gave him a price as I wasn't sure how many typefaces were in the tub. He was kind enough to drop my price by half because he wanted me to be happy and he didn't think he would have another buyer for it.
WOW what a haul! I'd sell it all, but it would sure get a good going over first! The post cards can do well on Ebay, believe it or not. I know a guy that makes his living off vintage post cards. The other cards that are not actually post cards... I bet they're even rarer and could fetch who knows how much.
A mate of mine was a large snap on dealer, and had several Vans just like that Toy, He still has one parked away ,a mercedes .Real ones that is,not toys...ha ha The Felsen Books are super collectible,as for those cards...oh boy!!! you scored!!!!
We had that Mickey Mouse phone in the 80's. My mom broke it when she slammed the receiver down when she was upset with my school. They sent me to detention even though she wrote a note excusing my tardiness due to a flat tire.
Curosity week I have a phone just like that Mickey Mouse exactly when I was younger I think we got it in 1980 How much are you asking for it I know you just got it but would you let me know off when you find out if your works Thank you and God-bless you I enjoy your journeys

Thanks! With luck I’ll move some this weekend :)

I try and pay fair prices for things and I think people appreciate I’m honest when they have something they have undervalued and I pay more for it.
I'll do that, to a degree, of course I'm not going to give them retail

Obviously the old guy loved cars. A pretty good purchase, especially the moccasins. Those hit a nitch market and are worth investigating.
Thanks Ed
Who dont love mickey..and hot rods....awesome
excellent as always, I don't think it was part of the haul, but love the Uber Iron piece
He makes those stools by hand, super cool!
Curiosity Incorporated I might have to have one of those...
The old car magazines are a very tough sell unless you want to give them away for a buck or two each!
They do ok for us at the shop

I really like the Cliff's towing jacket. What is the size and price?
It is a size large and is $65
We noticed the watches were stopped at roughly the same time.
I wonder what happened? :)
What day are people out there to buy magazines
How much for the snap on van
I want the post cards
Give the watch to the wife you will be rewarded .Get it fixed first
She’s getting quite the collection! That’s what I usually do with these :)
How much for the Toy van? Message me. Thanks
what price on the old hotrod mags?
$10 Canadian each
I'd sell a body part for that sewing machine. Not much demand for 70 year old body parts though.
Ha! Well I’m sure it’s cheaper then you losing a limb :)
Your cards are from the 60,s and books are to. Ron
Cards are for sure the magazines are 1956-60’s
Sheesh! Never find an estate sale like that around here, if you did the prices would be retail. Thanks for sharing!
