My sister had that identical Barbie. Hers was the redhead and mine had black hair...called a bubble cut. We got ours the Christmas of 1961. If the price is not astronomical, I would love to have her. Good finds! 😊👍🏻
Duck lamp was what they call TV lamps. They made them in black Panthers and other lamps. So enjoy watching I see things I had as a child also things my mom and aunt collected they loved there antiques.
I love the forest print, I live in the hills and woods of Pennsylvania, reminded me of home. You could step right into that picture and be there, it looks more like a window than a picture.
Your finds brought back a lot of memories - Especially loved the duck lamp and Black/White Scotch Ad.... Thanks for sharing - New to your channel, and reviewing some of your previous vids - Nice stuff...
I love the television lamp. My granny had one just like it. She had floral foam in it with fake ivy. We were never allowed to watch tv without it being on. The television was going to damage our eyes if we didn't have light (LOL). I'm 64 and so that was in the late 50's and early 60's.
Congrats ! Great finds . These Cocktail Mixers in the Bar- Cabinet are funny and good sellers ... Also the Strombecker Cars are very good , Barbie as well ... Wish a good score on these amazing finds ... Regards PAUL
I really wanted a closer look at those beautiful vintage hats you unpacked early on. You were so quick putting them away :-[ I love vintage clothing. I suppose they have sold by now? Loving your videos, you have my dream job, even digging through the rubbish in your hoarder home and old antique shop! I would just love clearing and restoring and finding new homes for all the stuff...making the places beautiful again. Mmmm.....
great buys on the painting of the rail bridge and the barbie Doll!. Ichad some Boys own papers Books like that Girls one from the same era. That Bar cabinet you have looks to me like it started life as a gramophone .I used to have an Edison gramophone in the same type of cabinet and i've known people back in the 60's who would buy them and turn them into cocktail cabinets .
I think those stirrers are called Zulu Lulu or something. I always see them for sale on eBay. Not too PC these days, but collectible to some people, especially in the package!
I have that mallard duck tv lamp, but the base is chipped and broken. I keep it b/c the mallard is unbroken and I am a mallard duck fan. It is from the 1950’s, or at least that is when my parents got the lamp. Thanks for the treasure tour.
Oh my!! I have my Mom's " Blackies Childrens Annual", from where was a little girl! Born 1920.Thanks for sharing this video. No I know the are more Blackie books out there.
it was.... i should go back and visit one day... i will look up your store when i am in Edmonton next... i'm sure we have some mutual friends.. (guessing the Bodnars come by once in a while)
I saw all your little cars in the case there...i myself collect matchbox cars...vintage..some huskys...corgis etc...id love to get a better look at what you have there...
All I know about Barbie's is about #1 in case I ever came across one at a Flea market or house sale and that is the #1 had holes in the bottom of her feet for a wire stand they sold. Also she usually came in a black & white swim suit. So you might have a #2 or later.
See my reply about Aunt Jemima. Ole girl is worth money, I'd guess. I have the salt and pepper shakers in plastic. Looked the up recently, with $35 for the pair. LaVerne Cady.
The Transformer might be part of the Diaclone line from Japan. If it's only stamped Takara that would be the case. If it has Hasbro stamped, then it's Transformers. I believe there would be another stamp inside where the driver would sit.
It's not Midge, it's a 1965 Barbie With Lifelike Bendable Legs in the Titian hair color. It appears to be in decent condition, and could be worth a couple hundred bucks.
My brother was reading the want ads in the local paper a few years ago when he came across an add for someone looking for old barbie dolls. He remembered seeing one my sister in law had up in the attic. It was from about the same year as yours , They gave the guy a call and he came 3 hrs drive to see it. The guy paid her $900 for it.
It’s hard to tell from the picture but I think the cow thing is a creamer, possibly a delft blue from Holland? Cow creamers are collectable, the blue interior is unusual, I did a quick image search and only saw one with the blue inside, so it might be worth something.
I believe that Duck lamp is a TV light from the 50's... That particular one was produced by Lane & Co. I feel pretty sure. As you may know TV lights only lasted a decade or so, then disappeared. Yours might be a later Lane product as most Lane Mallard TV lights had a simpler styled planter.
We were told not to watch TV in the dark because it was bad for your eyes. My grandma had one that was a circular shape and when the light bulb heated it up it turned and displayed different seasons of the year. I loved it. I still like night lights for the bath and kitchen.
How much is the painting of the tree's? Im a disabled veteran, I've started picking up a few, not because of worth but because of the feelings I get about them. A tree is an amazing thing. I live in Wilmington North Carolina, so if still available please let me know and at what cost and how much shipping would be.
thanks Mickey! I do have a tripod I will try and use it more often. These videos are often shot in the moment so sometimes I forget to take the extra time to set up my gear :)
talking about the vintage bar stuff, what do you figure the popularity of 1920-1940's buffets? we have one with a mirror along the back. about 4' tall, 2 big doors, one long drawer along the bottom, mirror is about 6" tall, runs the whole length at the back. was from an air force base PLQ.
Hello I was wondering at the Potter's house that you purchased you said that 1 Room had a legend about having silver in it?? Have you ever found the silver?
The writing on the Black & White display looks different to that seen on post-war items, which are fairly common in the UK so I'd be inclined to think it might be pre-war, probably 1930s...
Loved watching your terrific score on this estate haul. I'm interested in knowing if the black figurine, I call her "Aunt Jemima" is glass/porcelain. I have her and the butler, ( "Uncle Ben" ) as salt and pepper shakers in plastic. Got them at an indoor garage sale while working for the federal government over 30 years ago for $.50. The sale was for the benefit of raising money for annual United Campaign. I am not one to be offended when I see black art. My co-workers tried to buy the set back from me, thinking I was offended. I said no, of course. They're proudly on display in my dining room area, worth about $35 for the pair last time I checked. Check her out she may be worth some $$. Again, don't be shy when you run across items like these and just push them aside. I love seeing stuff like this.
The date on the Barbie is more about the body style, not the age. I look at the hairdo and the clothes. I'm older so I have seen that kind of Barbie in the mid- to - late 60's.

I loved the door knobs you don't see those anymore. Also the small yellow lamp it was nice also (It looked yellow any ways).
Black and White was my first Scotch. Just loved the counter advertisement
Great finds...I love vintage unique items. FUN!
Thanks for watching! :)
Really nice mix of vintage stuff. Great haul you picked up
Duck lamp was what they call TV lamps. They made them in black Panthers and other lamps. So enjoy watching I see things I had as a child also things my mom and aunt collected they loved there antiques.
I love the forest print, I live in the hills and woods of Pennsylvania, reminded me of home. You could step right into that picture and be there, it looks more like a window than a picture.
those stir sticks!!!! They are the bomb! Great video.
I need to watch more..... in the past three weeks I’ve watched every single RUclips I can find that you’ve made
Your finds brought back a lot of memories - Especially loved the duck lamp and Black/White Scotch Ad.... Thanks for sharing - New to your channel, and reviewing some of your previous vids - Nice stuff...
Thanks so much for watching!
Great video. I enjoyed seeing what you bought. Nice hats, Barbie, and all. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Tina! :)
I love the television lamp. My granny had one just like it. She had floral foam in it with fake ivy. We were never allowed to watch tv without it being on. The television was going to damage our eyes if we didn't have light (LOL). I'm 64 and so that was in the late 50's and early 60's.
I'm 78 and my mother in law gave me an old tv lamp of a sailing ship. It sits on my frig to this day. It is mauve and gray.
Barbie must be worth a little, if I lived near your store I'd be in there drooling on that matchbox lesney counter !
As for the Barbie doll. I believe she is Barbie's friend Midge, so very rare. Only sold in the first few years of Barbie,
When I explore abandoned homes I see all kinds of collectables you talk about on your channel Awesome channel an video Take care
Thanks Jimmy!
Congrats ! Great finds . These Cocktail Mixers in the Bar- Cabinet are funny and good sellers ... Also the Strombecker Cars are very good , Barbie as well ... Wish a good score on these amazing finds ... Regards PAUL

It would have been a bit small for a gramophone, but that would be good use of an old cabinet!
I've seen little ones, often made to look like a peice of French style antique Furniture and often made very nicely from beautiful wood.
Love the things you found.
!!Barbie with a tatoo!!
All good finds👍👍
Some neat stuff!
I think those stirrers are called Zulu Lulu or something. I always see them for sale on eBay. Not too PC these days, but collectible to some people, especially in the package!

i grew up in Fort Saskatchewan so was interesting to see the painting, the train bridge was torn down a bout 15-20 years ago
It was such a neat bridge
it was.... i should go back and visit one day... i will look up your store when i am in Edmonton next... i'm sure we have some mutual friends.. (guessing the Bodnars come by once in a while)
Loved the Scottish flask!!
You found some pretty cool stuff ❤️
Your store is looking cool Alex.
Thanks Jeremy you should drop by sometime!
I am watching this from Edinburgh and I can see the Castle from the balcony, it's so pretty lit up at night. Oh and I'm sober lol :D
Omg. I know that bridge.
I grew up in the Fort

Curiosity Incorporated we re in Penticton but my brother still lives in the Fort.
Hey Alex, love the vlogs! why don;t you put links to your social media below the vids? :) would make life a little easier
I saw all your little cars in the case there...i myself collect matchbox cars...vintage..some huskys...corgis etc...id love to get a better look at what you have there...
Great finds You have there
Very neat stuff there for sure. A treasure trove!
the Aunt Jemima Afro Americana sold on e bay for $325, and I thought I saw it on antique road show too.
Those flask make me laugh. My grandpa loved the old kind of war girl pin-ups in nudity and he collected the flasks and fancy car colognes. Haha
Alright I'm starting to appreciate your style. The Seltzer bottle is quite interesting!
Thanks Joshua! :)
Royal Dalton figurine in red dress vintage very valuable .
that alligator is the bomb

I had an oil lamp just like that one!
Squeee!!! Vinatage Barbie! Titian hair!
Hi, always enjoying your videos. I would be really interested if you could do a followup feature if you really sold that stuff and at what prices...
Did you look for any information on the Aunt Jemima like figure that was upside down on the left at 5:32?
Not yet
See my reply about Aunt Jemima. Ole girl is worth money, I'd guess. I have the salt and pepper shakers in plastic. Looked the up recently, with $35 for the pair. LaVerne Cady.
@@CuriosityIncorporated Many in the states collect these.
They pay up to $ 80.- and more in the U S for the cookie jar of Aunt Jemina.
very good finds.
What a haul !!!!!!
Thanks for watching Sheila!
The Transformer might be part of the Diaclone line from Japan. If it's only stamped Takara that would be the case. If it has Hasbro stamped, then it's Transformers. I believe there would be another stamp inside where the driver would sit.
Enjoyed your video! So craving a chocolate bar!
Funny ;) Thanks For watching Wanda!
You've GOT to invest in something that lets you use 2 hands.
Duck lamp- 50’s. Used to have one.
That Barbie looked more like Midge who was her BFF. You got a lot of cool stuff, good job!
Thanks Jenny! Appreciate you watching :)
I forgot to add that both of my parents were antique dealers and it was very interesting and a lot of fun for them.
'58 was about when Midge first came out.
it is Midge.
No it's not Midge it's Barbie.midge had freckles.
Midge doll! I had one!
It's not Midge, it's a 1965 Barbie With Lifelike Bendable Legs in the Titian hair color. It appears to be in decent condition, and could be worth a couple hundred bucks.
Check the porcelain lady in the dark red dress. If she was made by Royal Doulton, she may well be worth quite a lot.
That would be nice!
Brooks Pearce what kind of Barbie doll are selling now
Curiosity Incorporated or
This is so interesting!
Wow I love the tiger 🐅
It’s hard to tell from the picture but I think the cow thing is a creamer, possibly a delft blue from Holland? Cow creamers are collectable, the blue interior is unusual, I did a quick image search and only saw one with the blue inside, so it might be worth something.
When I heard you say " Advertising always sells " I thought "Well, yeah! " A double meaning statement.
Yes you’re right! :)
The name of the yellow transformer Lambo is Sunstreaker.
Fascinating video.😃

Cool stuff .. do you still have and want to sell the HW Semi??? Good finds
Great video

Love that little cow you have there. How much is it?
It’s $30 :)
Love your presentations, Top notch, but any chance you have a camera tripod ? You have great camera prose, presentation !
thanks Mickey! I do have a tripod I will try and use it more often. These videos are often shot in the moment so sometimes I forget to take the extra time to set up my gear :)

Antique shops like them for display cases but otherwise they can be a hard sell
so bud? I need that steering rig. ill stop in next week. please keep it a side if still available
Thanks Gracie! I still have the steering rig here :)
Hello I was wondering at the Potter's house that you purchased you said that 1 Room had a legend about having silver in it?? Have you ever found the silver?
Dukes of Hazzard didn't come out until 1979. Did they repackage an earlier figure from 1974 as Bo Duke?
Yes that is just the casting date for that body style
The lady must have been a collector. I used to collect Aunt Mima?
Aunt Jemima ... Cookies and maple syrup were the products I remember the best from that brand ...
Random question. What do you sell the most of in your store? Items that come in and sell fairly quickly? Just curious? Thanks!!!
Petroliana is the hottest seller for us. Oil cans signs etc
Curiosity Incorporated - sounds good, thx!
The writing on the Black & White display looks different to that seen on post-war items, which are fairly common in the UK so I'd be inclined to think it might be pre-war, probably 1930s...
Thanks for the heads up!
Love It!

HI THIS IS TINA JUST FOUND YOUR CHANNEL COOL THIS VERY SMART MAN YOU AREFOR SO YOUNG
Thanks so much!
very cool video/stuff keep on the good work
Will do!
that Barbie is a collectors item and will bring in lots of cash.
Do you bid or buy these without knowing what inside?
I knew it was coins but didn’t know what kind or how much
whoa... the Retinia 3c can bring as much a 670 dollars (top end) or low end 180
Baldinette, 35 to 180 is the range, most falling around 50-60 bucks USD
Barbie prices all over the place, low of 30 to high of 250 Much depends on the dress and hairstyle
If you kept those cameras in the store, I can only hope you called the display you put the first one in "Retina Display" ;)
The date on the Barbie is more about the body style, not the age. I look at the hairdo and the clothes. I'm older so I have seen that kind of Barbie in the mid- to - late 60's.
That Seltzer bottle might have been a UK recycle. Great Britain had rationing up until the early 50s, and nothing useful was thrown away.
Nice video!
I had the orignal Barbie my Mother gave it to my cousin later found out it was worth 5000.00 to collectors. So check it out.
