Very good coverage & commentary. Nearly 7 decades ago my parents from Trichy, Tamil Nadu came here and I am part of Bengal's rich culture that has practically turned me a Bengal-Tamilian person since my birth around 5 decades and a half.
People often compare this part of India with the rest with all negativities without knowing geographical impediments the state is having. It once attracted both educated peofessionals as well as daily workers and offered immense potentials in industries that saw natural clossures due to evolving advancements and demands of daily life. However, having said that, one has to agree that the metropolies of Kolkata has opened new avenues too and made considerable progress. One should not keep a blind eyes to the facts.
Anyway, I enjoyed your coverage. Kudos 😊

Kolkata was 2nd most important city in British Empire after London.
i've heard from old people kolkata was like europe of india. after independence The Communist government destroyed & now pro islamic government is ruining this city.

Lucky that you people or your choice of people were not elected by people of bengal and kolkata to run the place. Just look at rest of india where your so called non pro islamic govt has been in power. You people are shameless and blind to the core

@@ABO-Destiny I think it's enough time for you Abdul, to be on the phone . You can keep down the mobile and lick didi's shoes . And because your so " glorious " TMC no youth wants to live in kolkata . I don't think you should be calling " others " blind. Because you feel lucky that cpim and tmc ran west bengal , are you happy that now bengal is not even close to what it was ? While southern states are living happily developed despite they started after us ( not kerala, even though they have literacy bengal couldn't achieve , they are still being run by your lucky government cpim. ) mumbai and Delhi beat kolkata in everything . And you'll still say kolkata by any means is a good place to live lol ?

If possible, visit Kolkata again in October during Durga Puja. I can assure you, you'll never regret visiting once more during that time. You'll feel the divine energy of the City Of Joy.

Kolkata is a beautiful city but the problem is a lot of waste in the Mallick Ghat and surrounding areas. Also, I heard that Howrah is one of the dirtiest place in India. Truly a bad government in WB.
Anyway, love from Bangladesh. Jay Shri Krishna.

    • @RobRocks01

Yes, the Hindi speaking people and the Bihari people always hinder the cleaning process in Howrah, because they thrive in the filth. Their deiti is called modi or something.

Howrah was always one of the dirtiest in india. As far as city maintenance is concerned this govt. has done a lot , despite stiff and ugly political opposition from the ruling party of india. You are not well informed or do not have recent knowledge of the city. sorry.

By the way Vishuddha I really do enjoy seeing all those beautiful architectual styles you showed us. I saw other nice architectual styles in Udaipur and Amer near Jaipur as well as in Jaipur. What to say of Old Varanasi on the ghats and alleyways. The GopRo will usually overheat as it happened to me in hot places in Mexico and Colombia.

Actually kolkata ka e part aisa hi rahe kiunki is part ko aisa rakha gaya taki e Sare architecture istarha hi rahe.
Aur new building industrial area is sides me Newtown me kara ja raha he.
Abhi ke time political pblm he but growth thoda thik thak he pahele se karib 11-12% ke aspas. IT abhi 10% share he but 2025 me 30% ho jayga
Deep sea port kibhi tender pass hocuka he adani kam suru karega bahat jald
clean bhi accha hua Newtown- kolkata india ka 1st clean metro city bana kuch din pahele.

Kolkata is not empty … you are out at the wrong time .. the place you showed for the first five minutes are the main office areas and that’s why you couldn’t see a lot of people there .. if you could have walked a little more to Chandni’s chowk you would have been surprised 🤣🤣 just 5 mins walk from Dalhousie (the place you were at)!
    Loved the video btw :)
