What is the roof pitch on this?
Thanks,.. cool video 👌

With the 2x4 walls, does it feel strong? I’m in the building process and debating 2x4 vs 2x6. Worried about 2x4 strength and insulation value. Keep up the awesome work! I love your content!!
We are doubling up some areas with more 2x4s. Thanks for watching
Stick built 2x4 walls are only allowed to be 10’ high by code. This is only a cabin, and a small structure (gable walls will stiffen up weight baring walls since only 24’ apart), and probably fine, but generally if you want more than 10’ wall height it’s best practice to do post frame (pole barn) construction compared to stick built. Much stronger for taller walls and buildings
Hard to tell from the time lapse but did you use the roller for the ZipTape? That stuff is pressure activated and I worry if you skipped that step it may not work properly
Yes I did roll the tape afterwards. I just did not record that part . Thanks for watching. I did not enjoy spending $45 on the roller though lol. 👍🏼😊
@@KeyesGlamping but it makes pretty "z" marks in the tape when you're done haha
@@JamieRogers95 No Z's, no warranty.
how many days? looks like 3-5 guys?
3 weekends (6days). Only 3 of those guys were framers.
whats the green thing called that you put on the outside?
Zip system sheathing
@@KeyesGlamping ok thanks, and is putting the posts 12 ft apart good idea? Will it be strong?
I hate to think what those long 2x4s cost.
Unfortunately it was $8.25 when we started this project . 😢
@@KeyesGlamping That's a lot cheaper than I thought it would have been.
