HELLLOO I NEED UR BALLERINA ADVICE!! So since u all have been doing ballet for like forever I need ur advice, I’m 13, unflexable and never done ballet before but really want to give it a try and my dream goal is to perform in the nut cracker do u think I would ever have a chance?
@@McChicken13hi!!! so I’d liked to answer I’m taking ballet classes for like 2 years but I want to tell you its never late! I was the most unflexible girl in the world😂 I started at 10 but there was a 12 year old in our class too and it was a little hard for her but she worked hard and got flexible you can do some gymnastics and yoga to get flexible and ofcourse, you have a chance!

The youngest girl has the best feet of the three. Nice clean moves. My Daughter studied with San Francisco Ballet. She was on full scholarship, so many years of watching her, even I know the moves. Can't do them, but I know what the terminology means.

When I was kid I was like how am I gonna remember these stuff and now I can understand most of them surprises me
I'm surprised at how well I remember this stuff. I took lessons as a child, but it made me a lifelong fan, with many seasons of Pacific Northwest Ballet, countless Swan Lakes, and Nutcrackers. My granddaughter danced much longer, to my delight.

I' ve always thought that, for non french speakers, it would make everything easier if the therm was written and translated to deeply understand it instead of memorizing. Or a drawing of a body tagged with all the parts and basic therms like en dehors/en dedans, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th... "Rongdojong" is nothing. Rond🎡 de jambe🦵🏼 is "Ah, yes, ok, my jambe turns in a rounded motion! Direction?🤔 Let' s look at the poster🫣..." 🧛🏻♀️🖤

This brings me back to my ballet days in France
I honestly wish i had the privilege growing up to have ballet classes cause i lived in a small town my whole childhood and their was not classes for gymnastics ballet or anything so i really couldn't experience it their was nothing even available like pointe shoes or anything

Technically the second ronde jambe does a passe parte to tendu front but yeah
Also the movement from tendu to plie is sometimes called assemble (ah-som-bley) when it's done together
I used to do ballet when I was younger I’m 14 now I love watching videos of my performances from when I was younger
