- Here's my buddy, back in high school, scaring all the young, underpowered freshmen with his Harley.
Mind the two kids trying to get between the pickup - as they look back in FEAR - lol...made my day.
This is right after school let out at Jasper High School.
The bike is a Harley-Davidson XL 883 Sportster (2007 model year) with Vance and Hines Shortshots.
A more impressive and accurate title would have been "Harley leaves carpark normally without revving 900 times"
An unusual occurrence for sure....

Yep - 15 year olds could ride mopeds before getting their drivers license in Indiana, at the time. It was always a mad rush out of the gate at the end of the day.
It’s not as climatic as it appears, but a Harley mixed in with kids on scooters was funny to us at the time.

If you want to get a bike. Get a small full sized one. In ontario, there is a slow bike license so if you get stuck at whatever cc it is, you're stuck. No highways and I believe roads over 80km/h.
For what it's worth just get a fullsized bike and a scooter later to be slow on.
if you can't get a full-sized bike due to licensing restrictions, aprilia made the rs50 and derbi made a gpr 50 and yamaha has the rare tzr 50, all will smoke the average 50cc scoot-scoot even with a carb, roller weights, and exhaust

@@angelodevegt5862 if you think 70cc is fast you are a clown for example i own a 599cc yamaha R6 with yoshimura stainless system, yamaha team racing cams, titanium springs and valves, ported polished head with rifled intake runners, fatty injectors, lightweight supersprox gears 1 down 3 up, and a maxwrist sticker that adds 15hp... it tops out at only 265km/h though :/
People are dissing these kids, but they are out living life. When was the last time any of the Negative Nellies in the comments swung their leg over a bike? Or paddled a canoe? Or hiked 8 miles?

@@dad1366 true. I've seen lots of guys bounce it off the rev limiter right after starting their machine, which is really dumb. I'd argue putting a load on the engine when it's cold is even worse. All engines need a little warm up time, some more than others...it's a well known fact that you'll blow your base gaskets if you don't warm up a Harley Evo. It's a simple way to increase the lifespan of an engine. Some people are just ignorant or dumb and they'll find out the hard way.
That pretty much goes for any engine on cold start up
