Just bought a DTD 152 myself. Impressive performance considering the size and cost. Tested it with a 6x90mm wood screw in some old and dry spruce. It didn't even struggle, drove it in with little effort and easily sunk it into the wood. Used for building a shelf for my new mitre saw, used some 4,5x55mm deck screws for the particle board. It was almost too quick for it. I'm used to a comparably sluggish old 14.4V Hitachi drill, this is a very different animal indeed.
You're testing it with a 3Ah battery in the video, it really shows it's muscles with a 4 or 5 Ah battery. The 6Ah and 3Ah batteries can't quite deliver enough current.

This is one thing with makita, when I first brought this impact driver it came with a combi drill and two batteries for £350 I think if I remember right and you could buy the impact driver on its own for £120, this was about 4 years ago, but as makita continue to bring out new and improved models the price of the older ones drop dramatically, I saw this same impact driver on ITS yesterday for £37, I would rather buy 3 and them die quicker than pay £150 for the new model and have it blow up in the same time frame

@@ToolTartTv its pretty good value, the brushless ones are 2x the price, here in nz there is a combo for 435nzd so about 215gbp with a bottom range drill, that impact and 2, 1.5ah batterys, you mentioned it drained batterys quick though? however i do have 3, 5ah but use them on my hammer drill, grinder and sub compact impact wrench
