Unless you get into a really sticky situation or you’re using it for hunted, there’s almost no point to the shotgun. Yes it can be very helpful, especially when battling rat king but anywhere else, you’re tempted to over use it, that is, if you’re trying to get the highest score you possible can on really any given encounter, if just having fun, voids the whole point lol.
Yeah, I basically use it just for double kills in hunted infected or holdout

Yow why is the Bloater attacking you so slow. I tried this so many times in practise and I die everytime. After two or three dodges he attacks twice as fast and the timing goes to shit and I get hit. What's the secret here? I don't get it😢
Just dodge back, wait a bit and hit again. Don't try to dodge and attack right away

@@telescape808 You hold Triangle button (the pick up button). It's been a thing since the first game, but the game doesn't tell you that anywhere
Yeah, just hold triangle on a group of supplies. I don't use auto pickup, it's too annoying
