Great video! The one thing my neighbor discovered is that the outside netting needs to be removed because they don’t breakdown as they say it will. My neighbor used them 3 years ago and they’re still picking them out of the soil. They also found the plants become root bound. The next year they removed the netting before planting and no more issues. Maybe Jiffy can use another method to fix this issue.

For the plug trays hydrate the potting soil before you fill them. Just add water when it's in the bin and leave it overnight. It's a lot easier just needs to be damp.

Make sure to check the seed packet for the planting depth. Some seeds, spearmint for example, don't need to be covered at all. They need light to germinate.

I grew seed transplants for 25 years. You can fill the tray with your water solution and the loose seed starter peat mix will wick the water much more evenly than trying to drench from above and will be much cleaner. Once the tray wicks you can supplement light watering on the surface.

I definitely like the peat puck method. But I did not catch what you mean - would it be better to remove or break the peat puck bag when you plant them into the ground so the plants don't become root-bound as their roots try to rip out of that bag or do the peat bags very quickly decompose? I have some very special sport perennial seeds I've never planted before and I have no idea how strong their roots are.
