This is the reminder we all needed to hear! If you're sick or injured, maybe you lost someone, have autoimmune condition or general fatigue, just dial it back and make it easier on yourself (love the mist idea!) Something is better than nothing, give yourself grace to do less and credit for what you managed to do. And positive thoughts for a speedy recovery!

I’m just getting over the flu and all I was able to do was wash my face and apply a cream for the first week, what annoys me the most is the constant blowing of the nose which removes all your skincare in that area. Its no joke C19 I had it twice last year and was unable to do any skincare for a good few days or get out of bed. Wishing you a speedy recovery Kelly ❤️

Definitely, the nose area is suffering the most! I'm on day 15 now and my nose is still needing TLC to keep from being painfully raw!

Get well soon, Kelly! I have oily acne skin so I'm always cautious with thick heavy creams. But when you've blown your nose so much, it's nice to slather something on there. My pick is the Abib Enriched Creme Zinc Tube. The zinc also helps with the acne, so it's a win win. Way too greasy for a normal day, but perfect for a sick day.

When I am sick, I do just cleanser, toner and moisturiser. La Roche posay b5 cream is my go to aswell for skin around my nose and also on lips and top it with heavy lip balm (on lips). Get better soon!

ironically, my skin gets better when i get sick 😅its softer, less oily, and no new breakouts. if im feeling too sick to do a full skincare routine, I usually just cleanse and slap on a thick layer of my mary & may essence (dr. ceuracle/laneige before the mary & may one came out). Get well soon kelly!

I normally never have barrier issues anymore but anytime I get sick, forget about it! My whole face starts to peel allover! It’s crazy. I have had covid a few times and think I’ve had long covid now for a good 6 months or so and so much has changed with my skin 😢 but then when I’m feeling good it goes back to normal

Oh, Kelly, I'm sorry to hear that! I hope you got through it okay and are feeling much better now. I had a cold from hell - not Covid but no voice for a week - at the beginning of december and the only thing I could manage for my skin was the Bioderma sensibio micellar water, the Avene thermal spray or the Make Prem relief toner and layers on layers of the LRP cicaplast balm.
    Get well soon, Kelly ❤

Omg thank you so much for this review. I definitely needed it. I am currently battle a viral infection and my nose is running constantly to the point of irritation. The ordinary barrier serum definitely helped with that area of chafe. Yes having a cold or viral illness completely takes a toll on my skin. Usually when my body is recovered my face skin feels dehydrated, dry and textured. Thank you so much for the review. I truly needed this. I hope you are feeling better. Thanks again for the discount codes and links 🔗. I appreciate you doing this video while under the weather.
By the way the only thing I am totally regretting at this time is not having a face mask. Omg, a hydrating face mask will be the absolute best.

Great tips as always! I was sick with two viruses back to back basically the whole month of october, and i got the largest pimple ive had in years- left a huge scar too thats slightly indented. Ugh! Good idea to keep it simple and not try new stuff like i was! Thank you for posting even though you may not be feeling the best- We all appreciate your dedication!

I didn’t know LRP had a cleansing oil, I love the cicaplast which I have repurchased tons of times. The Torriden ceramide line is a new favourite, I got the toner and cream.

I'm on my 7th day of covid and finally feeling like a normal person again since two days ago but still with a bit of congestion and troath redness. The first days were a nightmare because i felt disgusting lol i continued my simple skincare (cleansing, toner, moisturizing, benzoyl peroxide on my t zone) but still, a giant nose pimple appeared and I think it has to do wtill the fact that i had to keep blowing my nose every two seconds the first days so now I'm focusing on healing it and moisturizing the area so it doesn't leave such a dark mark. And also the dry flaky skin around my nose so I'll try to get that la Roche Posay balm since my moisturizers and hydrating products arent working.
This video came right on time ❤

Wishing you healing! The first 7 days are the hardest, I'm on day 15 and still have lingering sinus congestion and some fatigue but so much better now! Definitely, the nose area needs that TLC I had some whiteheads around that area too from tissues irritating the skin. Keeping it moisturized helps a lot!

I just got over what I had. I woke up with a sore throat from 🔥 I tried so hard to convince myself it was allergies lol By late afternoon had the chills, muscle aches ( my bones were hurting ) and a fever. All that lasted a day but it turned into one of the worst head colds I've ever had. I still did my skin care routine but just did the basics until I started to feel better.
