symph2000 Definitely underrated. Cody, if you see this, you are a great storyteller and I really enjoy your vlogs! You lucked out on Izai. She really complements your narrative. I wish you both more wonderful adventures together.
Cebu is the greatest place I've ever been, it's so fun! Great people, tasty food, and the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. It's also a great jumping off point for visiting other islands. And my wife is a Cebuana, the best! If you're thinking of going, do it! It'll change your life.
@ cody: definitely try to swim with the whale sharks in oslob + must visit tumalog falls. me & my friends had a fun time swimming & just goofing around & taking pictures while the waves hit us at the sandbar in sumilon island.. but the most unforgettable part of our southern cebu trip has got to be canyoneering at matutinao river, starting at badian, cebu and of course ending at kawasan falls.
I never been in Cebu...i wish i could go there and will enjoy this wonderful places in Cebu...how lucky was the Cebuano to have this beautiful places...
Thank you for watching. We have one just like this for Siquijor as well and will be making videos like this for many many many more islands in The Philippines
Thanks for featuring this Sir Cody and mam Liza... Now i know that there's more beautiful places in Cebu that i need to visit someday.... you're both so lucky to have been there already...keep safe both of you...you are both looking great...
Thank you very much. Happy you liked it. I will be back in cebu in 2 weeks finding even more spots that other vloggers dont talk about to show them to the world! Cant wait!
As someone who has been to Cebu several times and have been to many of the places you mentioned, I want to say that this is an excellent video and you showed me many places to see on future trips. Thank you.
Very informative! I didn’t expect to learn this much in just one video. This features more of the place being visited rather than your personal experiences - keep it that way. Most bloggers make too much unnecessary videos about their opinions and humble brag what they do, it’s exasperating! You tell it like it is. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Cody the best kept secret places to go are no longer! Lol. Seriously though most comprehensive review and tips of places to go in Cebu. Kudos again for a job well done and ingat lang! 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch it. I hope it really does help you. Also if it helps I did list out the names of every tourist spot featured in this video in the description
Cody, you may want to get a job from Dept of Tourism and you can be a tour guide eventually. I watched all your vlog like Cebu, So. Leyte, Bohol and you are great about talking on where to go and the do's and dont
Thanks. I've lived in Cebu City for five and a half years and I've been to stunning Moalboal at least thirty times, but I've never been to any of the waterfalls except Kawasan.
I love your video, especially your comments about don't worry, they'll bring change to you before you get off the bus. I've ridden buses around Cebu Island on three different visits, and twice done kawasan Falls. It truly is heaven on Earth and your video shows me how much I have yet to see.
Kumusta!! Great video, look forward to visiting some more of these beautiful places that you have mentioned. First time i went i flew into Manila and into all the hustle and bustle of that city. Fell in love with Cebu. Thanks again for reminding me of how beautiful the Philippines 🇵🇭 islands and Cebu are !!!
I'm so amazed, you've visited a lot of places south of Cebu. When I was in Cebu, I have never even heard of those waterfalls that you've visited, except the Kawasan Falls and Aguinid Falls. Really nice video and great content.
Your vlog is OMG! It's the best travel vlog out there. I'm a Filipino and this is the kind of travel guide I've been looking for: comprehensive and lots of off-the-beaten-path. Keep this up, you're amazing!
Thank you for recommending falls that arent just Kawasan! While in Cebu I was getting so frustrated that everyone recommended the same thing!! we ended up exploring Inambakan Falls as well and LOVED IT!! Our guide was so friendly, we had so much fun exploring.. it was the best :) Definitely recommend hiring a guide when you get there to explore all the levels!! It was so worth it.
Absolutely! Inambakan is one of the best! I have nothing against Kawasan, but I am for sure getting sick of hearing people talk only about this one waterfall when there are so so so many others in cebu. My video doesnt even scratch the surface on all of them. Hopefully others falls will get more attention soon.
Wow I'm from cebu but ive been to only few of those places you mentioned. -Sirao, Buwakan ni alejandra Moalboal, pescador island, Lambug beach badian, Kawasan falls, Simala, Tumalog falls Oslob, Sumilon island, I'm from ALOguinsan but haven't experienced the river cruise yet in Bojo river, haha. Hermits cove, we also have Hidden beach there ;) North cebu: Maravilla beach, Funstastic island in medellin, Camotes island, Bantayan island
One of the best travel guides I've ever seen on YT. :) There's just one mistake in your video: Canyoneering/ the Kawasan Falls are located in the Southern part of Badian, which is the next municipality when you head South.
Did I say they arnt? I was saying most people go there form Moalboal, but I was not trying to say they are in Moalboal. Sorry if that wasnt clear. Either way thank you for the correction and thank you for watching our video!
That was an amazing guide for Cebu! Thanks for putting the effort into the video to make it easy to find places there. Planning a trip this year and will go to the majority of these!
No no, thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! I hope your trip goes great! Have fun and look for more waterfalls that we missed! There are so many to see!

Hye there Kuya Cody, will be going to Cebu this coming December. This vlog is like one complete Bible for visiting Cebu😁.. And really helpful too. Thanks for the great contents as usual and hope you'll be doing more awesome vlogs in the future..hope you'll be back soon and covering the rest of this beautiful country. 👍💪❤🇲🇾
@Cody....Great informative video about south Cebu. Next time, tell Issai to tour the southeastern side of Cebu. Start off with Carcar City for its delicious lechon and other delicacies. Then proceed to Sibonga where you can find the huge church and shrine called Simala Church. Then continue down to Argao for beaches and caves and their famous delicacy, torta or torte. They’re sold everywhere in town. Then proceed down further to Dalaguete which is the usual jump-off point to Osmeña Peak. They have public beaches and cold spring. Next town is Alcoy for its famous Tingko Beach and Nug-as forest tour where you can find Cebu’s oldest natural forest where prehistoric plants still thrive and also home to Cebu black shama and Cebu flowerpecker, two songbird species endemic to Cebu. Then head further to Boljoon and Oslob where scenic coastal communities, roads passing through scenic cliffs offering views.
We will absolutely have to do a trip down that side of the island at some point, maybe sometime after Leyte! Thanks for all the information! Very helpful!
what did you think of bamboo beach house in Alegria? i thought it was a nice laid back place and the food was great, my wife and i stayed there in early February 2020. great video, pity i didn't find your channel before i went to Cebu, lol
Where would you reccomend as a base to explore south Cebu ? Basically keen on chasing waterfalls and hiking. Not too interested in diving/beaching as will be headed to palawan after cebu
Actually, Canyoneering and Kawasan falls adventure is located at Badian where you said at 10:23 where Lambug Beach is also located and not in Moalboal.

Cebu the Island of majestic waterfalls.
Correction please, Kawasan Falls is not in Moalboal. It's in the town of Badian, barrio Matutinao. I am from there !
i've finally found a channel that shows more of cebu than the main highlights of what you need to do. Adding some of these to my bucket list.
That is why Philippines won 2020 world travel awards,
