Hello prim friends! My name is Gabriella Moir and welcome to our channel The Cape on the Corner at Tweedthistle Farms, where we love to explore antique shops and homes that are filled with history in early American antiques and primitives that also go well in farmhouse decor and decorating. We are sharing the building process too as we build our forever home, a Cape Cod style home on our 5+ acres in Ohio where we also have a specialty cut flower farm. Follow along as we share daily life of starting seeds and planting seedlings for the cutting garden, establish new landscaping near our home to try to give it that early look and feel. In the growing season we'll be starting a kitchen herb garden and so much more. Keep watching!

Heaven must look like this garden! We've been over 100 since about the second week of July here near Dallas TX. Everything is suffering from the heat. You just can't put too much water on anything. Only 1/4 inch of rain all month.

Oh my gosh, I’m gonna have to get some of those beautiful day lilies I love daylilies, and I used to have quite a few in my garden. I need to get busy and buy some more online. I don’t wanna just yellow day lilies. I want all the vibrant, beautiful colors and get the doubles also thanks so much for sharing this beautiful garden with us so full of life in beauty. Yes, mostly. With some lenten roses and a few other things but you're right. Best of all they do multiply easily and can be transplanted to new beds!

Wow! This place is so beautiful. My dream garden. I would never leave if I owned it lol. Could you ask about the stones he used for the borders of the garden beds. Did he dig them from the ground ? And was it all put in place by hand?
Yeah beautiful gardens in there I have 30 gardens at memorial Park in New Kensington PA I've been doing it 18 20 years now with my own money mostly I get some help with some people I get community service kids out there and some volunteers I'm out there least 2 hours a day at least if talk to you later have a good day I use egg yolk and water for my hostas for the beer to keep the beer away so it's like three egg yolks in a bottle with water and spray it one time so I'll try it sometime if you have trouble with deer goodbye now

He said the regular variety. He used to use the one specifically for blooms, but just uses the regular.
would soooo love to know the name of the exterior paint color on this house! the garden is gorgeous!
What was the recipe for the moss
2 parts moss, dried or fresh
2 parts buttermilk or plain yogurt
1 part water
Blend up like a milkshake and paint on what you want to grow moss on. Best to leave in a shady area and mist regularly.

You'll have to watch the episode again. You must have missed the food dishes tucked in a corner. The stone cats are gorgeous but they don't eat anything!
