So grateful for your posting of this song. I have a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. As a lifelong fan of John Denver, I've used his music as my most powerful healing tool. Now I can add this most evocative music to my daily prayers.... and my friends are learning it to sing at my memorial service. Blessings to all in this healing time.

We are the instruments who can personify John Denver's inspirational vision of what can be done to save our earth. His contribution is invaluable. His music needs to continue to be spread "all across the land". He has said many times that we can make a difference - each in our own small way.
Our country needs to listen deeply to this song. We all have to embrace light over darkness.
In 1975 in 1975 I was in noise home in St Joseph Missouri and John Denver came there and sang those kids and they told us he wasn't John Denver even though we all knew he was it broke something in me the bad side of me I knew there was God after he was there and had I got to say touch my life the dude was really who he was I'm 51 now I remember that experience like it was yesterday I still touches my heart God bless

I grew up listening to John Denver. All his songs are just wonderful and bring back childhood memories. It was extremely sad and shocking to me the day he died. May his memory live on forever.

I started crying because this song is another beautiful one and boy do we need healing during these dark times and he talks of home and he did go home! He’s with our maker, it’s just too much to think of losing him, breaks my heart. He was a talented songwriter and singer. He deserved so much more than he got. I’m just grateful I grew up in the era where I got to hear his songs often. I can’t believe it’s been 23 years since the senseless tragedy that took him from us, oh John John John, we sure could use someone like you here with us now.....you are so missed and loved all these years later. I play all your songs and reminisce of wonderful times past, I smile, I cry, I remember you.... Heaven is sure blest to have you there. I can just picture you hanging out on a cloud with your guitar, observing us here on earth, and having you strum your guitar, then singing songs recalling your time on earth. It was just too short buddy, wish you were with us still. I love you John Denver! Always will! 💕💞💖

Yesterday is concerning to me. I had to go back for understanding. I so want peace here on earth. My children and grandbabies are here. I said many prayers, and this is where my Lord brought me. I am so thankful.

We know we are powerful creators, resourceful humanity, uniting all different perceptions, races colors, religion, status.... WE ALL HAVE ONE GOAL IN COMMON !!!! this is so classic john denver sounds. and it's funny in the video he said he started tried almost 5 years to write it but it wouldn't come. which is part of the creative process things just can't be rushed. but it has so much meaning, and today with things in the world today. it almost gives me shivers thinking that someone else wanted it written as well! this world needs healing so many tragic things happened. i always wondered how he would feel about things that happened today again this song gives me shivers, almost like the Wings that fly us home. same thing it gives you something to think about. peace to everyone!!!
