I didn't know this video existed until today and I can now say that my life feels complete. I could watch great linebacker and safety play all day every day until my last day. I admit that I always liked Patrick Willis more than I did Ray Lewis but I don't think any MLB has accomplished as much as Lewis has so he's definitely the greatest to ever play. But I've been one of Darius Leonard's biggest fans since he came into the league despite him playing for one of my team's biggest rivals but I don't give a f*ck, never have never will. The Maniac is well on his way to building a Hall of Fame resume and if Indy could just get a average, reliable game manager at quarterback then he'd have some postseason success to add to his legacy as well. And it makes me really angry, sad, disappointed and sick to my stomach that Leonard hasn't been in the DPOY discussion when he's arguably been the best defensive player in the NFL over the last 4 seasons. Need a Safety with at least somewhat of an Ed Reed playstyle to come out of the draft and be at the top of the game. Most of the top Safeties we have right now aren't even close to the Pass Coverage that Ed Reed had, or another Safety of that time period in Brian Dawkins.

Darius Leonard is EASILY the best defensive player at causing turnovers since he’s come into the league. I mean at least every other week he’s punching the ball out or getting a pick. And he gets a ton of deflections. I feel like he doesn’t get nearly the recognition he deserves, he’s a top 3 ILB WITHOUT QUESTION.
