Honestly love seeing this. Herc was someone who never got the credit he deserved.
He had a fun run in Mid South.
I was too young to recognize Herc in his good days. I remember Power & Glory as jobbers, then WCW put him in there as Super Invader...
Hercules was an unusual power wrestler, because he could move pretty well and bumped like crazy for a guy 270+. That's what made him a good heel. Instead of just lumbering around, he could make the babyface's offense look good and the crowds loved it.
Paul Roma says the same. He loved Hercules.
Power and glory was badass
All he had to do was lay back and relax

I dont think Herc gets the credit he deserves. He was very fluid worker: solid, safe, and believable in the ring. I think because he’s not a “Meltzer guy” he gets forgotten by long time fans

I have only seen one of their matches as the Jurassic Powers. It was pretty good. Unfortunately, couldn't find any other match.

I hope you asked him about being in the WCW thunder game for ps1…not a great game but his character select rant was so memorable…it was pretty good and kind of a babyface promo…I don’t remember Scott talking at all during his WCW run
Haha yeah forgot about that . Pretty sure he spoke in that game more than in his entire WCW career.
@@alexandru5369 it also stood out because Norton seemed like one of the few wrestlers who actually understood the point of the game lol…he’s trying to convince the gamer to pick him to wrestle AS him, not against him (looking at you Scott Hall)
What a massively talented team! Would have liked to see them work. When you consider the monster teams- Road Warriors, Steiners, Doc/Gordy, Hansen/Brody, Jurassik Powers, Samoans, that went to or formed in Japan, that would be a phenomenal DVD collection of their best matches. Throw in the matches with Muta/Chono/Power Warrior and other Japanese guys they worked with, and it's pure gold.
Hercules Hernandez was a cool dude and very safe in the ring. Solid worker.
Who else watches OSW? No, no... we're not about to play" What Bar"...but Norton and Herc are def in my Boys stable!! Boyo Allstars right there.

Hercules was top notch!!! He was teamed and mentored by Mr. Wrestling 2, The Assassin, Jim Cornette, Bobby Heenan and Classy Freddie Blassie!!!! So you know Hercules was destined to be special….
Jurassic Powers and Power & Glory were awesome tag teams.
I've seen a handful of Jurassic Powers matches (thank you NJPWWorld & RUclips) and I love that team.
What about Ice Train? best tag team partner never got mentioned?
Herc should be in the WWE HoF.
It's funny he prefers Hercules and Buff his most intense pairing imo was with Ice Train.

There's a match involving the Steiners and Jurassic Powers, and excuse me for not having the date right off, where the Steiners were dumping Norton on his head left and right. Herc comes in and kicks the shit out of both of them. I can't say for certain that Herc was sticking up for his partner and friend, but that's the story I choose to tell myself.
