Interesting to think, Randyll said their sigil was actually a good one, not pretending to be animals like the others (like Lannister Lions or Stark Direwolves), but it's interesting to think that Stark warging powers and the Targaryen's blood of the Dragon technically makes their banners fair game.
You forgot to mention when Randall Tarly defeated Robert Baratheon during Robert's rebellion in a pitched battle called the battle of Ashford. It was Robert's only defeat during his rebellion.
I know it’s not canon in the books and may never be canon, but after seeing Randyll Tarly being so mean to Sam and hearing about how he threatened to kill him, Sam taking Heartsbane was such a satisfying moment.
I mean, for those of us who've played CK2AGOT, that's just standard gameplay. Can't fault the man too much when given the opportunity, worse has been done.
I'm a Tarly. That name means something. We're not oathbreakers, we're not schemers. We don't stab our rivals in the back, or, cut their throats at weddings..

I told him he shouldn’t go so far west so soon but he never listen.

Randyl tarly was a seasoned man and a fine commander in the wars

Hey it's either threaten your son. Or ensure your house lives for another generation.

House Tarly… Easily one of the proudest houses..

So stab them in the face then like a man?
The most interesting viewpoint character in the book before the Kingslayer's redemption arc really gets underway
I constantly humiliate my son in public , I’ve even made him bathe in blood, how is he not brave yet??!??
Some people are just sadly pathetic like that.
@@apacalypsagon3758 i hear Quarth has some great warlocks, hopefully they can help, if not i may just kill him.
Tbf their relatives in house bulwer apparently had an ancestor who grew to 8 feet tall drinking bull’s blood.
Don´t forget that it was a Tarly that killed the first White Walker in millenia. Sam the Slayer!
And to think sam was going to inherit this house of all things😂. The gods do indeed enjoy their jests i suppose.
Samwell's ancestors! I love Sam. Great character.
I thought there was a house called Gnarly for a second.
The best sir 😊
House Blackwood next
No love for Lady Sam Tarly, wife of two Hightowers (father & som), who rode a horse into the Starry Sept?
