Fred Coury was okay as a live performer but he was never utilized in the studio for Long Cold Winter because he was unable to keep the same timing across the many recordings of the songs. Back then a lot of bands recorded their songs over and over and they picked the best parts out of those many recordings to make the final cut. There were also tons of vocal layers and multiple guitar solos which were spliced together. That is part of why recording an album in the '80s by a big-time band could cost up into the millions of dollars. For Cinderella not to use Fred in the studio caused some controversy when LCW was released.

Got to see them in a small club with about 500 people crambbed I there they blew out the electric during the sound check had to wait outside for an hour while a emergency generator was brought in it was incredible absolutely great show..
Cheers this is great as I couldnt go see them after losing my job thanks to the banks. Still sound note perfect and Toms voice is sounding strong again which is awesome

Cozy Powell played on those Cinderella records. Fred wasn’t quite up to snuff. However that’s over 30 years ago and everyone improves.

I remember seeing Cinderella/ White Lion/ Tangier concert back in the day, before my best friend went to the Army. It was fantastic show.

Saw them at The Crown Lounge in St. Pete Fl. after the Still Climbing LP. Small and intimate. They tore it up. I was 5 feet in front of Tom.
Saw them in fort myers at this club that is now a school, got to hang out backstage, got them to sign all my cinderella cds/tapes...great band!
