- The plaintiff owns a CBD wellness company. She and the defendant planned to go into business together, but the plaintiff says the defendant ghosted her, and they got into a physical fight. The defendant allegedly posted an altered video of the fight online, so the plaintiff is suing for emotional distress and defamation. Leading up to the fight, the defendant insists the plaintiff showed up at her house unannounced, and she’s countersuing for emotional distress and defamation as well.
That video caught me off guard because they did NOT come across like that chile 😭. But I literally applauded them for the ending and maturely communicating their feelings.

Seems like they need good mentors and business etiquette coaches to learn how to be professional business leaders. Not responding to phone calls when you owe then money and fighting over it is not a good look. Reputable businesses will not want to be associated with them.

I can certainly understand the frustration of dealing with a "friend" and business partner ghosting you and everyone else while in th3 middle of a business transaction though. That all could have been avoided if the defendant simply communicated with not only the plaintiff, but their mutual friend who was sincerely concerned about the defendant.
Women are always talking about their superior communication abilities when compared to men, but then play these silly passive aggressive games and ghosting people or leaving them on-read, followed by pretending that there's no cause for alarm or hard feelings. "We haven't seen each other in a long time!" Yeah, because you stopped returning phone calls and txt msgs and deliberately ghosted everyone until they showed up at your house.
The plaintiff is a trouble maker who is good at hiding it. She is low-key toxic.

I had a client where they assumed I made a mistake. I didn't argue. I came out of my own pocket as much as the invoiced amount that create the tension in this case. I just took ownership and walked my client through the process. That took a half hour of my time. This client has been with us for over 5 years and going. She even gives referrals. Taking a loss in good faith can yield you returns in the long-term. I don't understand pressing that hard and being so confrontational if it really isn't about the money. Reputational losses over $180 makes no sense. Then, having that video displayed to even more people. Both parties should have kept it to themselves. I hope they learned from this experience but both apologies had ZERO accountability.

Listening to their last communication made me emotional because few people can do that 😂. In some stories, there's no bad guy (just like in some, there's no good guy), people miscommunicate and see the world through their past experiences, and good friendships get ruined for small details. I hope they grow and forgive each other because true friends you can call sisters are rare.

Honestly I have footage from my ring doorbell camera of how they pulled up and came to my door!! This small clip didn’t show everything. Like I said it’s multiple videos from different cameras in and out of our home! I sent them to the show upon their request and then THE SHOW mashed them together how THEY saw fit! But since y’all think y’all know so much maybe I should upload how they arrived at my front door!
