I visited Taipei couple of days ago to shoot some videos. I made three kinds of videos in which you can see Taipei’s different kinds of scenes.
First one is ‘Rain in Taipei’.
During a trip, I got an impression that Taipei city has different sceneries when it rain from the sunny or cloudy day. Perhaps the thousands of tall and old buildings, or the countless motor bikes on the road make the city look completely different.

The shot at 1:23, omg even the small alleys are beautiful, and I think it's all the lovely greenery people put outside their homes.

Masterful camera work! Impeccable editing! Really fine dolly shots! I see your videos as if they were Chopin's études exploring the colors of full scale and keys with unsurpassed techniques - each one - a study and an fine piece of work on its own. Please, continue with your "études fantastiques". They will become the corpus of mise-en-scène portfolio out of which you might someday like to orchestrate feature length films by incorporating some worthy narratives. Only by then, you would have to delegate all your camera work, narrative sequence and acting and would have to call shots only when what you have delegated succeeds. Your video reminds me of Ang Lee's work, and please take this as a compliment. (He does represent the very fine Asian sensibility but also has done fine very good work on Jane Austin as well. I was very much impressed by his recent film version of "Life of Pi" by the Canadian author Yann Martel.) Anyway please keep up the good work! I am looking forward to see your films someday.

Probably the most beautiful video I've seen on youtube up until now.. You captured a simple thing - the rain - in the most beautiful way. We experience it so often that we don't really perceive it anymore. But this video is so pure and calming, it almost made me cry. Amazing job!

i thought it was a video can calm me down, but it made me cry. My memory with my ex-girlfriend was binding with the rain in taipei.
