I have put a thumb up for your new video made in Coleman 👏👏👏 You have discovered many things. I liked the small bridge and the mule deer you met on the way. Of course, the museum was very interesting. I was impressed by the big rocks and big trees. My family over there was the daughter and the 2 grandsons of my great grandfather called Henri Haumont. The daughter of my great grandfather was called Claire Haumont but I don't know the name of her husband. She got married and all I know is that she had 2 sons 🙇🏼♀️ The 2 brothers were policemen. They had red clothes and was called Billy and William. Then Billy and William brothers were the sons of Claire Haumont . It seems that was in the forties 😅 My family lost them in the run of time. We only had some old letters and photos which were lost in a flood... Thank you for your good work. I was very moved to watch your beautiful video. 🙇🏼♀️ I wish you a nice and happy day. Sorry for my bad english. Your english is better than mine. 😅 Let's do our best day after day 😉👍 Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪🙇🏼♀️🎶🎤🐦
Wow, that is so awesome to hear of your relatives who lived in the area. Perhaps someone will read your comment and be able to say they know of them. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing how Coleman looks today and hearing of its past. It really is an interesting place and I enjoyed spending some time there.
@@DonnaTaibossigaiThank you very much for your kindness 🙇🏼♀️ I am grateful to you 🙇🏼♀️ I wish you many great and interesting walks 😃👍 Take care of you 🙇🏼♀️ Have a nice day dear friend Donna. Marjorie 🙇🏼♀️🎶🎤🐦
Enjoy learning about Canada The drive wide open spaces Wow that is a lot of coke ovens Nice how a mining area become nature hiking area Fun to discover some old mining remains Escape room, ha Wonderful discover of Coleman Alberta👍
That's so interesting!!!! Always love to see the historical things inside museums.I feel like every single thing has some story to tell!!! Thanks for sharing... 18:28 Great sight!!! And a great tour indeed....
I agree, it's fascinating to visit local museums and see what's important to that place. Sometimes it can be quite surprising. I enjoyed visiting and exploring here.
Such a great hike Donna. MMM your meal made me hungry! LOL! The Piggy bank is so awesome!! Don't think anyone can break into that! LOL!! Was that Spider of the leaf around 11:20 mark? AHHH the waterfall. Looks like you guys had a wonderful time!
Hello 😃 The appeal of an inn with a spectacular view of the mountains is being able to relax in the midst of nature. I really enjoyed watching this beautiful video where you can relax and enjoy the natural scenery of the four seasons 🙏🇯🇵🤝🇨🇦 I look forward to your continued success🙏☺️✨👍🎉💐❤
Thank you @Donna for showing us your tour to the Coleman museum. It's interesting to see the various mining gears, the surroundings and the scenery during your hikes. Have a great weekend!
The piggy bank was a great way to use the engine and educate people about the past. I thought it was just going to be a giant container. This was a neat place to stay for the night. Thanks so much!
Fun exploring in Coleman! Nice that you could finally get there for a look around. My, that was one huge piggy bank! Nice nature and history! Thanks for sharing with us! 👌☀☀
Very cool, looks a great place for a stopover. Interesting trails and museums, I love a good museum, the building about constable Lawson and the prohibition looks very interesting.
Looks like a neat little town to visit. I liked seeing the small train and that was a beautiful short hike. I thought it was interesting that you could still see coal in the ground. That looked like an interesting museum to tour too.
It was quite a fascinating place. I think it really gets eclipsed by the Frank slide where an entire town was destroyed by a collapsing mountain and was definitely worth visiting. Have a great weekend!
A very cool trip. Everyone films Calgary and Banff and Jasper but this was a great to see a less visited town. Everything seemed to be built up on mining and there’s some fascinating memorabilia in the museums and also out on the trail - I love finding that sort of stuff when out miles from anywhere. Prohibition was a crazy time in our history wasn’t it - sad about the policeman and the hangings - must have been traumatic at the time in a small town like that. Enjoyed this one Donna. Hope you and Lyndon have a great weekend 👍👍
I was very glad to visit a smaller town that many just drive by. It really is amazing how mining was such a huge industry that encouraged people to settle in Canada. I really enjoyed the prohibition questions board even though I was wrong I think on all of them! It was fascinating to learn a bit more about the time, and definitely I think the story probably shook up the whole province. The two were apparently buried in a cemetery here in Edmonton as well. Thanks so much for popping by and very glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Donna! Wow that view on the highway are you approach Coleman is amazing! I liked the neighbourhood you walked as you searched for food. The morning foggy view is neat and the giant piggy bank was really unique . I like this place! 👍😊🇨🇦
