@@user-xz5fd9nh4e Don’t get me wrong, I am proud that she’s Cambodian. But don’t be so defensive and try to understand human natures. People (not just Cambodians) treated beautiful people better than normal people, that’s the fact!
My best Cambodian heart-warming dish was literally chicken soup, it reminds me of 8 year old me coming back from school and smelling that soup just boiling in a pot that my aunt was cooking. I studied for 9 and a half hours a day as a young software engineer and a robotics engineer from the STEM community and to be honest, that soup had me sleeping for almost 4 hours straight after a quick meal. As a Cambodian, I'm very proud of my country for having the best culture and foods!

The curry you ate is also an authentic Khmer dish. It’s called Curry Saraman. This is a rare/special dish and is different than the regular Khmer curry you’re probably used to.

Im so happy to see you’re having Khmer food in Seoul. For my favorite Khmer dishes would have to be a noodle dish called, Mee Ka dang then soup called Salaw machu kroeung, and salaw curry. Those are some of my favorite. Thank you for sharing your wonderful video.

She got her origin correct. We are NOT Cambodia or Cambodian we are Khmer or Kampuchea. Western countries called us Cambodia because it was convenient for them to pronounce it was their convenience. The French called us Kambodge because they couldn’t pronounce. Now Khmer accepts that as a the norm. It’s like Calling Native Americans Indians, and they are not Indians from East India.

It’s really hard to find Khmer food here in Korea, so I always go to Uijeongbu and Suwon to eat😂 Actually the place that u went, I just got to know that place and went there last month. It tasted ok than other places.

Khmer food is the best. I can go without many other foods but when it comes to Khmer food, I can’t live without. And I’m American born Khmer.

Thats a lot of Cambodian Shops in Suwon. I remember walking around down town Suwon and never seeing any Khmer shops. Of course there were a lot of Cambodians walking around there back then as I hear them speaking Khmer. A few years back, Ansan had a Cambodian restaurant in the international district. I'm not sure if it is still there.
Hakdong to Suwon is really long by metro train. Ive taken a similar route. If I remember correctly, you can take the KTX train from Seoul Station or Yeongdengpo to Suwon and it will be quicker.
