First video I've seen of yours, seems like an underrated channel with great art and interesting insight. I wouldn't mind more talk on the art itself and technical side of things, workflow etc you strike me as someone with a lot to teach.
The coat is wonderful, a perfect fit for my Terrysona! I'm grateful for your honesty about the relationship between self-destructive workloads and career success. Not enough is said about the inherent cruelty of forcing people to compete for a chance at living a dream. It was a long and miserable journey to discover that I was not someone who had the option of torturing an impressive CV out of myself.
Fantastic video. In fact, you have a tremendous Channel. You are very talented and generous too give us your time and share your wisdom. I've only recently got into sculpting, however, I've been using Maya since version 1 way back in 1999:-) back when Maya was only available on SGI computers running Unix LOL. I started out as a VFX artist, mainly working with hard-body models. Sculpting was something I left for other people to do, but now I'm sort of retired, just turned 59 yikes. I decided to try something different and push myself. I really responded to the way you approach sculpting. Awesome work keep it up
Completely relatable. My approach is very similar. Literally American Independence day and I'm spending it recreating a concept environment in 3D from a job posting I found, trying to get hired.
Had the EXACT same experience in my school! The only thing that kept my going through the hours and hours of work was the comradery of mutual suffering with my classmates haha, but damn we got into some real brain rot hours down in the labs.
Amazon video as always Dan! It's enjoyable to hear someone's life stories and how they became an artist! By the way, is there any place I can watch the video slower or even in real-time? The playspeed function on RUclips doesn't quite suffice, and I wanna learn more from all your videos. Cheers!

Thank! I'd like to know why do you separate the sleeves from the "tshirt"?
Sadly I am in a similar situation and don't see much options to exit :(
Why you never show what brushes you use !! :(. I would love to see it
Standard brush, smooth and move brush mostly! Not hiding anything. Will make sure to include the brush tab in the next video!
@@danduw3d oh I didint know it is so simple haha. Thanks!
