Kind of bummed that the cargo capacity with the 2nd row folded down is essentially the same. Love our 2015 Forester but are looking for something with more cargo room (as we always pack too much stuff when traveling). Most reasonable sized SUVs aren't any bigger so a Honda Odyssey is looking better and better...
I loved my old forester. Now it's too big and bulky. Why did they make it bigger when they have the ascent and the outback.?? Loved the older style. Had a subaru since 2014 till now.
I wish I can say the same. My brothers legacy was a lemon. It just wouldn’t start left him stranded way too many times. He was so frustrated he payed off his lease and bought a Mini. My mom’s Ascent this new version of eyesight has been problematic. Her sunroof was misaligned from day one. And for myself 2022 Impreza kept shutting off as I drove. They couldn’t figure out. Took to local mechanic turns out the cat is no good . Subaru does not want to cover .

I have the Ascent. I can carry more gear in it than I could in the bed of my old Toyota Tacoma truck.
Really looking forward to the next redesign on the Ascent, Outback & Forester. Hopefully a powerful and efficient hybrid of all three too!!

There's always Crosstrek if you want a smaller Subaru. They seem to have grown a bit since 2014/2015 and I actually fit in one now.

I prefer my Outback Wilderness
I chose the Forester because I love the huge panoramic sunroof. That was something I really wanted and enjoy.
We have two grandchildren and with their parents that makes six of us. Which is why we have an Ascent to go along with our Outback.
