@26:50 You say that drone only gets one action because he had LoS and shot. But wouldn't it take two actions and shoot twice if it didn't have to move?
Finding the artifact is cool! Do you have a place to store it in the meantime? It seems like four artifacts would take up your entire inventory. Would you pass them out to team members or is there a way to carry more gear?
You guys should make expansion bundles at a discount for those of us who got the base game retail and would like to get all the little add ons now. Thanks this is awesome I bout both core and first born in one go.
@Battlesystems I discover First Born. I have the same question of Tim Cummins, why did you remove a peak of life instead of two when armor is ignored ? On the other hand, when the "lithovers larva" token is turned over, are the damage symbols the number of damage it inflicts directly or do these symbols indicate the name of the dice to be rolled to know the number of damage caused ? You can play in different ways; each player has a single character, as you said, or each player has two characters, one player plays all the villains and you use a separate crew from Core Space, or one player players the crew, one the npcs, one the villains, and another a core space crew, or the three other players use three core space crews. It would get pretty crowded around the table so I would use two sets of terrain and an extra map for a double layout.
Hey there. I have played some rounds now and it seems I'm struggling with the drone activation. How exactly do drones behave? Do they have 2 actions or only 1? The Video starting with 26:00 confuses me. From the AI chart I understand that they only have 3 possibilities. - if they have LoS they shoot once. - if they have no LoS they move into range and then shoot - if they don't reach the target, they only move once. Is this correct? Thanks for the clarification!
Drones have 2 actions and follow their own AI chart on page 36 of the rulebook. If they have line of sight they will use all of their actions and keep shooting! If they don't reach the target they will take their second action to move again (unless they now have LoS). If you do Facebook we have a Core Space page where people will jump in and answer any question you have: facebook.com/groups/349338038811268 You're actually better off asking there as I have several versions of the rules in my head so I'm not always reliable!

when you rolled for the larva hit you rolled two stars/hits yet only lost one life point. Why was that?

I believe that the drones only take two actions when they are patrolling, and only one when they engage the enemy. Colin will correct me if i'm wrong!

The home vessel can take 4 items, and the new big space ship can take 8 i think

I'm not quite sure but didn't you have an inch-/ruler-based movement system in the first Core Space? Did you move away from that to grid-based?
You can use either one.
