I have watched many of these videos and still cannot believe how an ugly chunk of nothing more than firewood turns into such a brilliant work of art.
Linda Andrews I agree with you ! Many people by-pass these challenges not realizing the potential out comes & opportunities they’re missing .
However my friend.......you, and you alone, thought it to be a piece of 'nothing', when all along it has been a gorgeous piece of 'something'....something beautiful..!!
@@larryslemp9698 everything has the potential for beauty, or ugliness; all decided by the artist’s vision, and then by the audiences’ perception.
Larry Slemp - I doubt I am the only one who thought 'firewood' on first sight but, knowing it was in the hands of a master craftsman knew it was going to be way more than that.
@@lindaandrews9245 well said and you were NOT alone
Why do I want that so much.......excellent work. So creative.
So beautiful. I love your work.
That wood grain is just gorgeous. It’s always amazing what beauty resides inside of a gnarled and twisted piece of old wood. Kind of an analogy for seniors, I’d say... nicely done.
Are you saying we should run seniors through a lathe?

@@lyndacarter5090 wow! Thats dark! Wanna get a drink sometime?
Muy bonito. Gracias por compartir tu arte😁
It's very interesting. The colors and the woodgrain are complimentary.
Andy - love your work. Would you consider ending your videos with a side-by-side of the original piece of wood and the finished piece?
Are you kidding me? Andy is just amazing!!! Like a magician! Amazing talent!!
I love this! I feel like it would be a perfect way to display sunflowers. 💛
The yellow complements the wood grain. Beautiful piece!
Oh wow! That is just gorgeous! Great work.
“You de man”! I watch in sheer fear going....”he’s going to loos e a finger?” U are so talented and hey amateurs who thinks this would be a gr8 first time project...forget it! Leave it to the Pro’s like Andy! This is so dangerous for those of us with little or no experience. Andy is a well gifted craftsman and KNOW’S his work! Thank you Mr. Phillip for the beautiful and “on the edge of your seat” lathe work! You work is exceptionally beautiful and a well crafted. Thank you 🙏🏻 for all the guidance and videos! You are the man! Take care, stay well and stay healthy!
Yellow, I thought! Not very keen on yellow! But as usual, you've proved me wrong...and the colour compliments the wood beautifully! ❤️
Old root ball, plus a beautiful colour of resin magically transformed by Andy into a absolutely stunning piece of art
Great video to watch, thank you for sharing 😉
I thought I was really going to dislike that yellow - but I should know by now that you don't do ugly! Love it!
I love how nonchalantly Andy Phillip steps up his game with each project. Phenomenal work as always!
Brilliant as I have come to expect!
Just gorgeous! I didn't think I would like the yellow, but you convinced me. I just love it.
Nice and simple.
With those colours, and the character of the wood, I think that's one of my favourites so far.
Thank you.. Cheers 👍
Wow!!! That is amazing. Love the colours. 💛💛🤍🤍💛💛
So beautiful!!! Yellow is my favorite color 💛💛

Amazing transformation of a piece of driftwood. Nicely done.
OMG!!! EVERY TIME you amaze me more than the last time. I can't imagine how you come up with the idea, and how you can envision an end product that turns out so incredibly beautiful every time. Incredible as always! Can't wait to see what comes next. Take care, and thanks for sharing.
Way to go Andy! You are Da Man! I do luv to watch you create.
The knots and the colors are stunning!
Bro whenever I’m stressed af i come here to watch this shit no voices no music just a man and his skill super chilling
Another stunning piece of art. The contrasts between the different shades of wood and the yellow is mesmerizing!
It is Beautiful .There is no limit to what you can do , Doug is right great idea on the sanding pad . take care and be safe .
Love it! I love the colors you chose. Well done!
Nice color, Andy .....👍💝
Love the contrast of colors in this piece. As always, well done.
Great colors! I love the simple shape! Very interesting and clean piece!
I love the shape and color of this vase. Nice Job! 💜
You are a MASTER CRAFTSMAN! Yellow is my favorite color. It's so happy and positive. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked in my lifetime career, "How do you sing like that?" Now, I get it. I was right all along. I tell them, "I don't know." It's simply inside you. Whatever that is... it's just who you are and not something you just do. There's something very special and unique about the core of you where you have this vision and it changes as you go but at the end, it always turns out as something that came from a great place. Congratulations.😊🙏🤟
Beautiful job Andy. That yellow really pops.
you always proof me right
there is no ugly wood
this looks amazing :D
Wonderful contrast, and a beautiful piece indeed.
Man... the stuff that comes off your lathe is just incredible. I feel like I could stare at that vase and notice something new each time I look at it. Truly beautiful.
Beautiful, as always. Your visions for these pieces are amazing.
Awesome as always, your the best at showing its not the wood, but what you can bring out of it!! Keep it up and stay safe!
Beautiful Andy
better and better every time I watch you work Andy Good stuff mate
Beautiful piece Andy, the colour is stunning.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers
Andy it is absolutely stunning just amazingly beautiful
Absolutely gorgeous Andy as always you come up with cool ideas
Reminds me of dappled African sunsets through a forest canopy. Stunning. ❤
Beautiful piece, thanks for inspiring!
stunning! The yellow really brings oiut the wood values!
Beautiful as always! Keep up the good work, and be blessed always for continually entertaining us with the creation of your wonderful art (and utilitarian ) pieces! 😊🎨🎨
Stunning, as always, thanks for sharing
"Thats how they call me..". another beautifull piece Andy.
That is absolutely beautiful great work
The ugly duckling. Sensational! The yellow appears to be as crushed pineapple. Sweet and delicious. Well done. I’m ready for the next piece of art!
It amazes me how you come up with these beautiful items.
You are, definitely, a fine artist.
I find your videos very calming.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! So beautiful. Thank you for sharing ♥♥♥
Cool Andy! Love the swirl & "texture" in the resin. Your projects are unique and epic! 🤟😎🌟
I love how the swirls in the resin compliment the beautiful swirly wood ... and your choice of shape really brings it all together , another stunner 👍
So much movement in this piece, as if the resin is flowing eternally around the vessel. Your work is complex and intriguing.
I really wish I could scrape up the dough for one of your pieces but I'll settle for watching them being made. It's always an amazing transformation 👍
Very Beautiful. Love the color choice and the simplistic design which adds beauty by not taking away from the wood and resin. Great Job!
So cool! Way cooler than a pottery vase!
Absolutely beautiful!! I would truly love to own one of your pieces. Your talent and vision is truly remarkable! Thank you for sharing your videos
Not only do I like the work you do, I like they way you do it. . .silently! I get so tired of these RUclipsrs who think they have to describe their every movement or fill the airwaves with music. Woodworkers want to hear the wood being worked, that's all! Because of that I liked as many of your videos as I could find and subscribed and hit the notification bell, which is what every other site begs me to do as they are prattling on about what they are doing.
Lol.. thanks 👍
First, that has got to be one of the scariest things I have seen spinning around on a lathe, what's next a tangled ball of razor wire? Second, am I the only one who thought for a second Andy was going to turn the duck tape and plastic!? just me....... That turned out amazing!
An absolutely lovely, eye-catching piece of art. Beyond recognizing you as a top-tier woodturner, Andy, it's my view that few can do goo like you do.
Love the design it reminds me of the lava lamps of years gone bye,
Can't wait for your next project.
Loving this one Andy , my favorite color .
As soon as I read the title, the "They call me Mellow Yellow" song popped in my head.
Always an inspiration. Your videos are often my bedtime videos.
Beautiful Andy! The yellow is a gorgeous contrast to the wood!! Have a great day! 💕😊
Thanks
Beautiful piece of work.you did a tremendous job on this vessel Andy.
Yellow went so well with the wood, really lifted it
Love the colors. Beautiful piece.
Another piece of perfection, well done Andy.
What a wonderful shaped vase, and the colour sits really well with the wood, even though it looked ugly. Take care and stay safe.
💖 I love this channel so much
Good gosh a’mighty! That is beautiful sir!
Another beautiful vase Andy. I sure love the way they turn out with your skill.
Cheers!
I love that you used yellow resin. I haven’t seen that much and it contrasts beautifully with the grain of the wood. It is a bright, cheerful piece!
Thank you
SPECTACULAR!!! what an amazing conversational piece of art, your talent has no bounds Andy, this may be my very favorite piece!!!
that project is crazy on so many levels! beautiful piece of wood even before you started turning it...always inspired by your work.
Beautiful as always, Andy
That's the most beautiful yet. Well, and the world. Ok, maybe the purple light too. Oh and.....! I'm sooo jealous! I want a go! :-)
Very novel and beautiful piece, Andy. You have a real talent for making order out of chaos.
I’ve personally never been that big of a fan of the color yellow, but it works well on this piece. I like the way the resin has swirls, a beautiful black edge to it, and the overall look of the wood. Beautiful work 💜
Simply beautiful!! ❤️❤️
This guys talent and artistry is unreal.
Always amazed at your work. Glad I found this one, it's nice to see a different color other than the green. Thanks for sharing your work.
Amazing! Love the colors.💛💛💛💛💛
This is jaw dropping beautiful
