Your videos on ribbon masters inspired me to get a full shiny team! I got Heracross (Zeus) , Scizor (Ace) , Weavile (Cryo) , Mamoswine (Milo) , Sudowoodo (Sudo) and finally Togekiss (Rose) from Colosseum. Have to finish all their ribbons, before I can transfer them to my B2 game and continue their journey back to the past (Hisui). Unfortunately, Rose will not be able to go to Paldea. Anyway, thank you so much for this wonderful idea and the quality of your videos!
Every time I see a long shadow hunt like this, I get eternally more grateful my shadow quilava shined in just 201. 2.5 years, brutal. Amazing shiny and glad you stuck to it!

Togepi is my favorite Pokémon EVER and also coincidentally the first shiny I ever got that wasn’t guaranteed so essentially my first full odds shiny I love this tiny precious baby egg so much and oh I hope to see ribbons on this baby. If I get my hands on other games I might try to get ribbons as well but I’m content watching this ^^

I also have just completed a hunt that took me 2.5 years to complete. It was an extremely unlucky alpha pokemon in PLA and it was exhausting. This doesn't compare to the dedication needed for this hunt massive congrats and I hope to see the ribbon master series soon.
These insane shiny hunts are fun. A while ago I tried to hunt for a Shiny Pawiard in White, because have a Unova native Pawniard evolve into Kingambit sounded funny to me. I phased on a Garboder and loved her since. I should give her the Galar ribbons since she is in my new main sword file.😊
Long shiny hunts are great, but also so, so draining. My longest shiny hunt was for Beldum, which I started back in 2019. After nearly 4 years of on and off shiny hunting, both in Ultra Moon and Sword, I finally found and caught a shiny Beldum in August of last year, and now I’m trying to get all the ribbons I can on it before I transfer it to Home. I just finished my first playthrough Alpha Sapphire so I can get the contest ribbons, I’m dedicated to this lol

I got three full odds shinys in Ultra Sun all in the same day (before I got the munchlax I was looking for to get leftovers) and Ive had terrible luck ever since with shinies so I think I've used all my luck up

It's happened before, there's one shadow shiny that you have to watch a cutscene battle of beforehand, so it's basically both your first fight and a rematch, and someone has had it be shiny back to back
Why would you ever want to go back to PokéArizona- THEY PROGRAMMED IN ENCOUNTER SPECIFIC BALL CAPTURE RATE BONUSES? WHY?! YOU CAN'T EVEN FISH IN THOSE GAMES, LET ALONE SURF OR DIVE!
I'm thinking they did it to make Nature Power call Hydro Pump there, the shadow Pokemon from the e reader are just a coincidence and the only ones you can use a Dive Ball against in normal gameplay

Unfortunately e reader togepi has no shadow exclusive moves, or fortunately when you consider their dismal availability
the tri-attack togepi is the one you get from xd, and the guy who gives it to you wants it back after you purify it
