I often hear the reference to Jacob’s (Jake) brake and exhaust brake refered to on your channel. They are 2 completely different systems and operate completely differently and one system is far superior in slowing power to the other. It would be good to specify which system the motor home has on it.

He sure is misinformed on brakes. CPVC plumbing BEWARE! Old and brittle. The kid says driven from Illinois? What does that mean? Its a 15K coach not 30K.
Just don’t let them freeze. Copper pipes will bust pretty quickly too haha ice doesn’t give a damn, dealing with that on a Prevost we have right now. I’ll take repairing these old plastic lines on this Bounder any day compared to repairing the copper lines.

There are many different types of auxiliary braking systems.
