Great informational vid. I found that watching one herd of mulies for 36 cons days, watching aging process, they used often feed zone 85%, rare 10% and were at neither once for about 5%. When game first came out I did flip several need zones, but no clue how much pressure it took. I did not see and almost never when they did flip. However I didn't play transylvania much and I have seen several almost never there. I agree they seem to usually be at zone near the start time, however I have seen them arrive both early and late. And while they do often travel about an hour before the next, I have seen them earlier and later. While I guess it could be distance to next zone, but it feels like more
That's really good info. I'm glad my guess at 80% is close to your observation. I went to 75% to often zone because I have seen animals at the rare zone quite a lot. But it is highly likely they will use the often zone. When Transylvania came out it had brown bear zones all set to almost never because they had not added them yet 😀. I've only ever seen one other almost never zone and that was a rabbit zone on Transylvania which I had never hunted. So I dunno lol
Wow - that was a guide - that need zone stuff, you would never understand or even work it out as a new player or new player very soon, but when i do get started i'm going to be taking the info learnt from this video into my game. May have re-watch this a few times to let it sink into my brain....video's like this just want me to buy this game even more - what i am learning about this game - without owning the game at present - there's more to this than just aim and shoot. Hopefully you have more guides coming Thanks very much
Thanks! And thank you for the original questions. I am pondering the guide stuff. I found this one challenging to explain. Mostly because I just wing it lol. A lot of the stuff in the video isn't fully explained in game. It's just what we have all figured out over time. Any other suggestions for guides for new players?
Until I start playing , then I generate my own questions and query’s Without being a guide I learnt so much how hunting pressure is very important in this game from your vids - sometimes just free roaming hunting and rambling chat is very helpful - to pick-up info without really realising it …..trouble is there’s lots of beginners video but there all early release builds of the game - so it’s nice to have guides after the latest patch - cause early videos might not represent the game in its current build 👍
Hi Ford. A suggestion for when/if you start playing: get the movement perks before getting serious - open the map by walking/crouching and exploring. You'll get pissed off with your wobbly sights without them. And the game is pretty realistic - patience and silence is key, and using the Stop/Start method of crouching REALLY makes a difference. Thankyou Bumblewoot! Spend your money, man; the game's pretty good.
Another very informative video. Thanks again I sure hope in the near future they add parking lots to Nez and Transylvania. I love that feature on Aurora Shores. Just wish they would add it to the other maps. One of my previous comments was regarding the sound bubbles for Hunter sense not working and I saw that you had that issue earlier in the video, that happens to me quite often and I have to shut it down and restart from main menu to correct it. Does seem to be a lot less though since the new update.
Hey. I did flip often to rarely twice. Both were mule dear on Nez. A kill, then sleep, anther kill, then sleep, about 4 or 5 times in a row. The zone flipped. And then surprisingly, after a lot of time, maybe 100 hours, not sure, it flipped back, but i didnt over hunt hunt it the second time, so I'm not sure what happened. I've also seen in the popup help notes something about flipping the zones if they're not in a convenient spot, or something like that.
Yea, it is a loading screen tooltip. Thanks for the info on how you flipped a zone. Seems like it takes quite a lot. I do not think any have flipped for me. I'm not sure though.
Just started exploring Transylvania. Did the Rifle In The Antlers job and found an Almost Never feed zone. Why? Who cares about those? (That was a bugger of a Job, by the way - three herds in the area, lots of dead un-fits, several dead max-fits, several game-days and Main Menu resets later, lots of getting crabby... but no mistaking the stag with the rifle, once I saw him - hint for newbies, scope two herds in the East(?) of the zone by a wee lake/pond, then focus on the herd in the West(?) - also, I called max-fitness on my hooter with that herd and he did the zombie thing with a clearly tangled rifle, just so you know. Best hint - focus on the herd to the West(?) )
had absolutely no clue about this toolbox... this certainly changes things.... also does time pass much slower after the update or is that just me? I noticed a lot of animals need zone times changed too, but for sure i'm convinced time has slowed down. which is great because it was way too fast before.
I have not manually timed the time since the update. It was 15 minutes for an hour before, and there was no indication of a change anywhere in the update notes. Feels the same to me though 🤷♂️

I always figure I'm just blind and cannot see the bubbles 🤷♂️ and yeah, parking spot FT for the original maps needed for sure
Thanks for the link to the toolkit I've been wanting to get it now that i have a new pc.
Right on! Hopefully way of the Hunter runs perfectly on the new computer 😃
@@bumblewoot actually I play it on ps5 😂 but still wanted to use the kit since I can`t use it on the ps5.
@@ArthurB4268 oh haha! Well in that case then, enjoy using the toolkit with the game 😃
It would be nice to tell the difference from the map if it's often, seldom or almost never zones.
That would be really handy. It's been a request from day one
Here's another voice saying "Me too!"

Search my youtube shorts for my solution to the rifle in the antlers mission. If you haven't done so already 😄
@@bumblewoot I smacked that bugger with my .270. Nobody likes an armed and dangerous deer, right? Cheers, man.
Thanks bud 🤜🏻🤛🏻
