Hey Taps, love your reviews. but If I may add a critique, you really need to step up your Audio recording. In some ways, the audio, for this video was better than some of the previous ones, but it does still sound a bit muddy and too low. A quick EQ to make it brighter and also adjusting for gain would do wonders. Since the sound is quite low, one has to raise up the volume quite a bit, only to have quite the surprise when your transitions pop up, as the audio for those is actually louder than your voice. I'll admit, I normally wouldn't leave such a comment, but since you are reviewing High end audio gear... having good audio is kind of expected, lol
Hey thanks for the feedback! Yeah audio has been my nemesis for the last bit to be honest. I had a few mics crap out and well,.. I need to spend a bit of time getting it right. I’m working on it and hope to see some improvements in the next few videos!
30+ years ago, I had the Mission Cyrus 1 and the baby Magnepans (MMG?). It should not have been able to drive them, but for use in my apartment, magic. I couldn't turn them up too loud, but the music and voices were wonderful! Lately, I've been missing the pairing a great deal. So, there's a chance. It probably depends on what you expect to play and the volume you want out of them. I wish that I'd never sold them.
Great review! I cant decide about the mission for 450 or a rega brio which i can get 550... then add an external bluetooth and dac. Running with b&w 606 s2s which are a bit bright
I haven’t heard the rega personally, but that’s a fun set up! I think the main consideration would be how clean would you like your set up to be? Less equipment = less wires. :)
Try pressing and hold the power button while the unit is on for 4 SECS. Auto off function 1 flash = off 2 flashes = 20 mins. 3 flashes = 1 hour For LED light options You can press and hold the volume knob while the unit is on as well Just seen these available options in another review video. Hope this helps....

I had a pair of Mission 763 floorstanding loudspeaker. Great sound for the price. Long gone now... Now i have KEF and NAD.😀

considering swapping out my Quad vena II with the mission 778x, also got pair of B&W 685's.
I have yet tobhear the Quad. But I have heard good things about it!
What about 3030i? How they sounded with this amp? And in the result, which pair of speakers you preferred better with mission 778x?

@@0102studio got the Mission - issue with the Bluetooth which being looked into but the sound is amazing. Love it!

Alas, no. I didn’t have it for an extended period of time. Just a few months. It worked fine in my use.
