can we ALL take a minute to appreciate how creatively awesome the music designers were to be able to compress a full musical theme in 16-bits (which was really just double 8-bits at the time) and be able to transmit all kinds of feelings and emotions: as an example this music has the ability to bring you to the edge, setting your mind for what is the end of your adventure, the final battle, facing your nemesis, i swear of god my 8 YO self clench the controller has tight as it could when i hear the first bits and my heart raced knowing that i will be about to finish the adventure. and even know almost 30 years later, with a whole gamer life behind me and have being played the most awesome games such as Skyrim and Castlevania SOTN, i still think this Soundtrack for the whole game, is one of the best soundtracks ever.
What I love about this music is it gets the blood pumping and when you listen to it years later, it makes you remember when you used sit in front of your T.V. all day and you just couldn't beat it, and the game laughed at you. One day, you sit through the whole game you get him down to the last hit, your heart is pounding, and finally you kicked Robotnik's ass. Looking back on it now, you cry tears of epic happiness. And that is why I am listening to this now. I miss my Genesis.

Two of them launch at one time, and without getting smashed, you have to guess which one Robotnik, the villain, is in and hit it. Then, you have to dodge an electrical beam that fires at you. Oh, and I forgot to mention, you have to do this without any rings, and you die after one hit.. So, yeah, it is intense

I'm going to write an epic orchestra cover for this. It just sounds so epic and just like emotionally gravitating. Something about it.
