And every life he's taken since, has made who he was fade away even more. He feels like the world rests on his shoulders. He's seen friends take their last breath. He's seen friends sacrifice themselves for him, and he will always ask why them and not me. Every night he hears the screams of the wounded and the dying. His mind is full of memories, some are good, some are great, some are sad, and others cause a lot of sleepless nights. He has to sacrifice a lot, often walk away from those he loves to keep them safe. It hurts like hell, but it needs to be done. His heart is going to ache as he watches, that angelic face. The one who inspired him to keep fighting, his most trusted friend, and truest love fade away in the distance. When he's staring into the face of death, and he knows there's no other way. His thoughts drift back to those he loves, and the one he truly loves. In his last moments alive, is when it hurts the most. Ashley could be pregnant with Sheperd's child, but he's never going to be there to see his children come into the world. He's not going to be there when they're trying, to learn how to ride a bike, or their first day of school. He won't get to see his kids graduate, get married and have families of their own. He's not going to be there to grow old with Ashley. All the things he accomplished, like curing the genophage, stopping the war between the Quarians and the Geth. He's not going to see the fruits of his labor. In his last moments, the Hero doesn't feel heroic. No in his last moments is when he's never felt more like just a man. To those who question the reaction of Ashley and Kaiden on Horizon, what would you do if your commanding officer, a close friend, and in some cases lover, came back from the dead after two years apparently working for an organization that has most likely tried to kill you both and is responsible for a number of heinous crimes? I thought it was pretty reasonable, it's not like they pulled a gun and shot you.
Yes, Asley|Kaidan had both their wildest dream and worst nightmare coming true at once. Shepard was alive - but he was brought back by Cerberus, an insane human-experimenting terrorist group. No wonder they were flabbergasted and lost for words or reactions.
I know a lot of people really like Tali as Male Shep, but Ashley deserves more love. She makes you fight for her. She's not as easy to impress as the rest. That's why I chose her. A warrior's heart is the hardest to gain, but once you do, you know it's real.
Every night my head races at who I romance next, it always drags me back to Ashley. 7 years since the trilogy finished I’m still kicking as in outer space
This is amazing. Back in 2009 I had in mind an idea for an Mass Effect 2 AMV with BB's Without You (thought it was the perfect song to describe the relationship between Shep and Ash), but never got around to do it. 6 years later, this.. this is almost exactly how I envisioned it, even better.
Well YA in this video she uses the MEHEM mod that lets Shepard in the end on the Normandy putting up Andersons name only instead of the crew putting up Shepards name
Yeah, personally I think that the Reaper AI lied and that EDI and the Geth were, at most, temporarily stunned. I also like to think that that breath under the rubble is what alerts the crew of the Normandy as to his exact location when they're sifting through the wreckage of the citadel, like a deep breath as he wakes up but can't move too much.
I really love this video and often review it, and the downloaded version is present in my list of 1400 best songs of all time. I think it's high time to make a remaster based on the Legendary Edition.
a Garelt and Triss tribute would be great, if its anything like this it would be great. Mass Efect was one of the best trilogies ever, the only one to come close is The Witcher series, respect to you for this "Zireael"

I prefer the badass brunette with the sniper rifle and a love for poetry, who I can trust from the start. Over the cold, bitchy, Cerberus agent, who wouldn't trust in a million years. From the moment you meet Miranda, she let's you know what she thinks of you. She questions your every decision throughout the game, even tries to go over your head a few times. I was actually surprised she didn't try to kill me. When I blew up the Collector base, and told her boss to go fuck himself. To top it off, Miranda refuses to admit, what Cerberus did to Jack was wrong. Miranda clearly has no morals, especially when it comes to Cerberus. Sure, Ashley turns her back on you on Horizon, and even draws a gun on you, in the third game, but she did those things based on her own morality. Put me in her shoes, I would've done the same thing. In the end, after some persusaion Ashley goes with her gut, and trust you again. If that had been Miranda, she would've just shot you, whether you lowered your weapon or not.

honestly I love this romance because it isn't Skin Deep.
I have three game plays as Ashley my main romance option and next is miranda and tali is my third romance option
So, if you're into Butt Rock..Ashley is the good romantic choice. :)
