    Was looking forward to your full review of the Lankeleisi 3000 Max but now that I’ve had a chance to evaluate the new EV laws which have just come in here in Ireland, I reckon this could well be my best option. Your Sandy Lane Hill Test might be the decider. Excuse me if the following are annoying newbie questions (I have no experience whatsoever with e-bikes :-)) but for now, what I’d really like to know about this bike is..
    1. Can you use the walk assist without having the throttle attached to the handlebar?
    2. Can the full 80nm of torque be used when limted to 25km/h and without having the throttle attached to the handlebar?

    • @pvyebike
      @pvyebike 3 месяца назад

      Let me explain it to you:
      1. The factory installed grip is without accelerator, you can use pedal assist mode. Throttle handle is an extra gift, it is up to the user to choose whether to install it.
      2. If the throttle handle is not installed and the speed limit is 25km/h, it is not unlocked and the torque will be less than 80Nm.

    e-VRC - I was really waiting for this bike to be reviewed.... Please post more stuffs about this. Does this ebike go in a throttle unlocked mode more than 25kms? does it have a horn? and a usb charger? Also as per the PVY site the torque is 80 n.m. Is that true? that's more than that of engwe engine pro 2.0 then.... Also what is the size of the bike when folded, the measurement in the site is 51mm width while folded, that's too big for a bike of this kind. If you can confirm... Then I can think of buying it.. So, happy that you posted this video. I was trying to lookup for a video of this from last few days... :) Also post the video for the new model of FIIDO M1 Pro, which has launched recently, not the old spoky model, which is getting sold cheap in the sale in the USA. Europe has the newer version, but, not sure if I can fit a rear rack in that... so, am considering this PVY one.

    • @e-VRC
      @e-VRC  5 месяцев назад +2

      Hey. It does unlock. I believe it has a horn and pretty sure I spotted a usb charger. As for torque I'm not sure but I'll take it up the Sandy Lane hill climb for the review so we can directly compare it to the other bike's times.

    Question: would this bike be a good choice for climbing on mountain roads - not dirt roads, but still (sometimes very) steep mountain roads - for 10 to 15 kilometres at a time? Would the PVY Z20 MAX go uphill without a problem, or would it be difficult and I would have to put in a lot of effort? • @e-VRC

      It really depends on how steep. The hill in the video is easy with pedalling. A bit steeper than that it would still be pretty easy. You don't mean actual 15 km hills do you? Another question is: leaving in apartment and not having garage where to keep the bike it would be necessary to carry the bike time to time up to the first floor and knowing that the bike is around 27kg would be annoying and unpleasant? Hi. I have just received my MAX and have unlocked it by increasing the P settings but it still appears limited to 25kmh on the throttle. Do you know what I may be doing wrong? Cheers

      @@robertbrooke1289nice one. I had a play, did you hold the brake for 15 seconds when turning it on?

    Can you deactivate the unwanted, intrusive darned pedal-assist and ONLY use the throttle and/or can the PAS wires be physically disconnected? If not I ain't buying one. I - the rider-owner - want to decide when I need power not have "pensioners' pedelec" pedal-assist kicking in all the time. It also increases range if ebike-riders can activate power only when we need it or want it using only the throttle with no interfering PAS / pedal assist!!

      If you don't want to pedal, you can use throttle-only mode.

      Yeah would be nice to have the option of just 1 battery.

      You do have the option of just 1 battery and it’s cheaper and as far as the battery on top looking ridiculous, well if I’m sat on a park bench and that thing comes flying past me I’d just presume it’s a water bottle and I’d probably be to busy looking at the rest of the bike anyway.
