That healing factor is very true. You can feel the pain in her songs sometimes, and I can feel like she genuinely just wants people to feel better after listening to her. Thank you Watame! We love you!!
I felt better definitely but at the same time I felt bittersweet. In one of the latest songs, there’s a line that says “Hoping that these times would last forever” gave me the feels if you know what I mean.

@@xyle8659 not at all. The majority of talents are established performance artists or experienced entertainers, so it's a rare case of hiring literally nobody from the street (she was an mundane office worker at the time), helped only by her perseverance to try again after being rejected.
Had she give up after first or second time, there would be no Watame we know and love at all.
One of my takeaways from this was how they seems to value the unique energy members can provide. I think they've done a great job of that. Each of the members really feels unique and that helps prevent a situation where they're too directly competing or stepping on each other's toes

Whenever I feel down, depressed or anxious, I find myself going through Watame's archive, her gentleness is healing and her story and how she stayed strong throughout all the hardships she faced is inspiring, hope you stay happy Watame.
She's not being called a wataSHEEP for nothing. We all clearly felt how she was doing over the months since her debut, and we are there to witness all those times.
For me, I love her singing (especially the Kaibutsu cover), and of course, the feeling of fluffiness when you are around her stream. Nothing could be ever replaced that _Watame's mofu-mofu feeling!_
That detailed reply made me tear up. The fact that the management saw all of that from her and was highly acknowledged hits home way deeply.
It also shows how deeply they look into the talent and how hard is to pass the interviews.
Not to mention the healing is there, regardless of the language barrier. Clippers also help lower that barrier too, so that's a big plus.
I'm glad Watame is here with us.
Currently is hard to imagine watame without her sheep avatar. She is so sweet, fluffy and warm.. it fits perfectly
Hiring team has a good eye. So many of Hololive's talents are diamonds in the rough when they were first recruited. It takes good vision to be able to spot growth potential and audience fit, rather than focusing entirely on past working experience and numbers.

I love this sheep. Her rough past has always made me cheer for her and I'm glad she's here. I'm also glad for her success so far and wish for more of it in the future along with her happiness.
Watame is one of the few hololive girls that have a regular thing that they do, where you can put in front of any random person and have a positive reaction... Her after stream chats which tend to last longer than the stream are just... The cadence, tone and emotion behind her voice, the laugh, the smile you see and can *hear* when she is talking/laughing, it's her as a sheep-person actually sitting down with us and talking with us. I am fairly sure I am not the only one that would actually do the "must protect at all costs" IRL if needed, we need to keep what few good things there are in this world, safe.

When I read healing, I had an epiphany as to why I cried that one night when listening myself to sleep to her lullaby. Basically what probably happened was I got so comfortable that it felt like I was in a very safe space that I could just let my tears flow. I wasn't sad, I just needed a good cry. And that was the moment my body decided to take it.

I think you misread that. She said that if it had been financially difficult for her, she thought of doing part time work while streaming at the side. She doesn't work part time and I mean, how would she have time to ready for her upcoming solo concert if she had part time work
That is early day Watame before join Hololive, at first it was hard but now she more focus on streaming no more part time jobs, debt and she planning to buy house for her mother

HR and Recruitment at Cover honestly seem like they can see into the goddamn future sometimes. The people they pick and the reasoning behind it, it seems so obvious now that we have hyper successful talents wandering around hundreds of thousands or even millions of subs. But being able to envision that future when it's just some person with no fame but a big heart at the interview, that's not just plain foresight, it's Clairvoyance.

I think this is why Hololive became as successful as it is. Because they "feel" if they have good candidates. That's what gives this company its soul. That unexplainable feeling about why these girls can make you feel so good even though they're mostly just doing ordinary things.

But she never gave up and got in.
Suisei got her own fair shares of being turned down including Hololive once but managed to get it the 2nd time.

Well, that makes more sense actually. In fact, I forgot that she kept sending in her application before the end of each deadline as a reminder until she was finally in.
Which mean Nene's determination (as a former idol) is one reason they pick her.
She really does have that warm and gentle voice. It feels so welcoming and you just want to cheer for her when you see her working so hard. 🥰🥰🥰

I'm really grateful that she got accepted and I found her. She is the sweetest person I know. I got to know her by the clip of her reading SC and crying you can really feel that she have that healing factor. I only start watching her for about 3 months. But I know I'm gonna keep supporting her.

I would love to see a symbolic graduation though.
For instance, Senchou leaves alone on her pirate ship after disbanding her Ichimi. Problem is that she needs a crew so even after she graduates, we will still symbolically follow her anyway.
For Gura, she will return to Atlantis. Maybe show us around and then she sees us off before saying goodbye to her Chumbuds.
For Amelia, she would probably end up in that wasteland where she would sleep and never waking up again, apparently frozen in time. That’s quite a bittersweet graduation in my opinion. Hope she gets a happier one.

Kiara will probably become her Phoenix form and fly away, never to be seen again but she will always be watching over her employees or else she will turn them into fried chickens.
