Gotta respect Dragonforce for having the balls to go behind the event coordinators back after they said "Babymetal will NEVER play this festival" and get them on stage. Not allowing Babymetal to perform here was very narrow-minded and flew in the face of what the festival was all about to begin with.
Herman deserves some MASSIVE props for this. And more recently, bringing Lovebites to the UK for a mini-tour. I'm not a Dragonforce fan but AM a Herman Li fan.
Considering all the negativity from the metalhead community, it amazes me how rapidly three petite young Japanese girls were accepted by so many big name metal bands. And how protective those bands are of BM; especially the Metal God himself, Rob Halford. Truly, the Fox God was involved.
Well, no gods involoved, but a true appreciation of a rare talent and an insane amount of hard work, dedication and passion those girls give to the music.
Que Dragonforce y sobretodo BABYMETAL hayan tenido el descaro de mandar alv al promotor del download fest y hayan tocado en el festival a pesar de que las habían baneado previamente cuando el promotor dijo que respetaba a BABYMETAL y su carrera pero que nunca tocarían en su evento es simplemente una de las historias más épicas que se pueden contar en el mundo del metal sobretodo si tomamos en cuenta que por esos entonces las chicas eran prácticamente unas desconocidas en el medio
