Jerma spending the last 30 minutes of the stream trying to kill one skeleton rider only to accidentally kill it via suffocation without realizing, followed quickly by him accidentally dying the exact same way the skeleton rider did is such a Jerma ending to this stream. Really glad I revisited this one, such a classic!

That was the one that I could most immediately find. Post Scriptum, I meant the quote to be a joke, and I think this is the first time that I’ve had a valid reason to reply to your comment to say something. I think I never felt that I had a good reason to reply to one of your comments whenever I saw them before.
This game is horrifying in VR. The world looks simultanously tiny like a dollhouse and huge like you're an ant in grass. It doesn't feel like you're playing minecraft in vr, it feels like you're somehow manipulating the flat screen game to track your head and hands and the whole ui is bound to the side of your hand. When you are in the darkness, the blacks aren't rendered totally black, there's about 3 speckled shades of greeny-gray that are alternated between until absolute darkness where there's this strange totally black void where the leds turn off on the headset itself to make it true black. The movement doesn't feel like you're moving in the world, it feels like you're piloting a camera on wheels around the world, and at worst feels like you've activated a flight command and you're just constantly holding the button to acccelerate downwards. The screens feel like if you so much as blink they'll disappear and you'll be stuck in some kind of hellscape where you're stuck in place and time has stopped. Your body and hands don't exist, you're just observing the world you've made in 2d. It tries to do 3d audio but fails, so you end up feeling like you're listening to minecraft audio in the background while you play a muted game. I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have at least 100 hours playtime in both VR and minecraft.
@@Bug_Bait looks like @Jacob Rendall played the official version of it. It's complete shit. The better version (that everyone uses) is called Vivecraft (no you don't need specifically a vive headset)
I got through Half Life Alyx even though I was scared but this is so much worse. Being in a ravine and just waiting for a skeleton or creeper to drop down on your head from above in almost total darkness is too much.
After watching this stream it just reminded me how much i love this game. Ive played it since the beta and it was cool seeing all the new shit they added. Im past the point in my life where i hate on shit just cause thats the popular opinion. This games is a great way to relax and just chill. Good memories too.
+Anaconda Boom the game was also very big at the time of beta, i played since alpha, when it was literally only sandbox, no lose state. the mob farming, the early days of automating farming, i remember inventing new ways of farming, red stone circuits, opening doors with pistons when they came out. And the updates just came so fast. Boat elevators was probably one of the most prominent bugs, i remember when they broke the "only need a ladder every second block" thing. Minecart boosters was just other minecarts going in a circle, that was maybe mid beta though. Man, so much of my information is outdated. Watching youtubers like Yogscast to see stories made in it, watching coestar for the inventions, watching sped up building videos. Now? I wouldn't know where to start if i was thrown in it today, is there even any quirks left they haven't removed? Is there any invention to be done that hasn't already been made and is easily googleable? It just seems like to stand out you need to make giant computers out of redstone or something insane like that. Or you just play on servers with minigames ala roblox, never been much into that.
That skeleton trap at 3:00:00 was hilarious, not only was he jumped by like 2 creepers but a lightning strike just so happened to of struck a skeleton horse. He definitely wasn't ready for any of that.
I don't see any of that at the time you linked. All that happens is he kills a fish. Also, lightning always strikes skeleton horse traps when you get near.

Me and my cousin used to have "kamikaze mines" where we'd save our spawn and just dig down over and over again. Used to be a pretty good way to get a lot of ore fast, if you had the guts and luck

3:20:19 that's because you need the vive deluxe audio strap. The straps that come with the vive suck because they dont distribute the weight effectively on your head. get that and you will be able to look down easier and feel lighter on your face.

Yup, had VR for the longest time (had a Rift dk2) and this game is still one of the best. You just can't beat this level of procedural generation and the depth.
I probably logged 600+ hours at minimum in this game after horses were added, and I had never even heard of a person who witnessed that happen with the skeleton horse. That is unbelievable, literally legendary levels of rarity as nobody ever sees that happen.
Does anyone know what version of Minecraft VR this was? I know there's a lot, and idk which one to get. (Ik its both officially supported on Bedrock, and that there's also Vivecraft, and the one in this stream looked the most fun UI wise, but idk what method he used)
