Just moved here and everyone has told me how much it’s changed. Everything is new and clean in the city center. There is new construction and developments everywhere
Dude you hit all the new developments I like that you got a real crane eye and so do I thanks 🥺❤️ I left my city a while ago and these are things I didn’t get to see yet

@@macgoldie7771 exactly there so many churches that sit on every corner in Birmingham but it doesn't help most of the people that live there. I look at things different especially coming from new Jersey. They're trying to be like other big cities they better sit there country azz down somewhere...lol
Ranges 75-85 typically can get up to low 100’s at times. Typically nice weather although very sudden changes occur, such as it’ll be very sunny and all of the sudden start raining heavily for 20 minutes and stop raining 😮
I'm sorry but this Vlog is a little haphazard......I would have started at a point where you could see the skyline. Definitely some blues skies that day! Nice video of uab. One thing for sure plan your gasoline needs. There may be two gas stations. There is a publix downtown with below ground parking. Missed views of Sloss Furnace, the airport, both theatres The Alabama and Lyric. Morris street..... Our courthouse is rather large and impressive. Lynn park, 15th street church. Taco trucks, the fountain in South side.... highland ave. Thanks for sharing.
You can get through all of downtown in 15 minutes😂what do you mean plan your gas needs you are right there is the small gas station off of 4th avenue to the left and chevron closer towards the middle but there are also like 15 more within 10-15 minutes of both of those.
@@XboxAfty I agree about the 15 minutes to drive Birmingham. I just advised the few number of gas stations available in Birmingham central. You know like if you coast in town have a plan 🙏
I miss Birmingham alot sometimes. Lived there 15 years. Went back a couple years ago and it has changed so much.
I miss Birmingham as well! Lived there 5 1/2 years in the 90's

I can now conclude that all USA downtowns look the same.
Thanks for the great video, with love from Houston Texas

Thanks for letting me see my old neighborhood, Five Points South. A lot of memories there growing up.
Lived there for three or four years. Nice city. Good restaurants.
What a nice city I didn't know it look like this
Miss this state so bad💓💓💓
Didn’t see the old Pizitz department store. It took up an entire block. UAB has taken over a good chunk of downtown. The city looks nice and clean.

The only parking I'm aware of at the Publix in town is on the 2nd and 3rd levels of a deck.

Streets are bare where are the people?
That's how lots of these downtown areas are in the less popular cities.
Well here in Alabama most ppl work during the day
@@johnstewie5720 So do people in New York and their streets aren't bare like that that's ghost town bare.
@@kerrywright8102 There's only 200k people in the city, 8 million in NYC.
There are about twice as many people in NYC than the entire state of Alabama.
