This interview anticipated the Christmas Concert in 2006. However if you have a time machine or chose to buy the DVD "Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square featuring Sissel" or the CD "Spirit of the Season: Christmas with Sissel and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir" you can experience the event in your living room.

CD is a good singer. There are lots of good voices, male & female. Each listening heart must make its own choice. For me it's Sissel. She is blessed with a tender, honey-toned voice that just floats my boat. I love other singers too. But if days go by without me hearing it, I am unhappy. And there is no peace until I hear it.

@@noriemeha I listen to her sing nearly every night before bed. She takes the edge off the days worries and brings peace to my heart.

It's a pity that folk feel compelled to exult a singer and treat them like your favorite football team and other contemporary voices are necessarily denigrated as part of the brouhaha. Good voices are wonderful and honoring them or their elevation above others, is all personal preference and perception. Of course Sissel is talented and an extraordinarily gifted singer. But I don't think it honors Siss by knocking other good voices into second or lower places. Her voice has tones that cause my heart to resonate and I thank God for her.
